A great place to fish and spend time with friends and family. This has been an annual tradition for us for several years. The setting is beautiful and peaceful, with nature all around. We’ve seen many eagles, loons, beavers, and a swimming bear. The two lakes are big enough to allow for solitude and exploration, but not so big as to be intimidating. The bass fishing is amazing with some nice Walleye and pike thrown in. Our cabin was comfortable for the six of us and the kitchen well- equipped. I almost didn’t write this review because we want to keep this place to ourselves! Maybe the most important part is the hospitality of the owners, Chris and Cathy, who seem like old friends. We’ll be back next year!

Amazing location with great hosts. The cabins are cozy and super clean. The view is amazing right outside your cabin door. Will definitely be back. Love that the cabins have hydro and water. Best of both worlds “camping in style”

A group of us stayed in the Pineview lodge and had a wonderful time. Cath and Chris were extremely welcoming and helpful. They set us up with everything we needed and even showed us some of the areas that the fish tend to be. Unfortunately, we didn't catch much but others who were also staying there at the time managed to catch quite a few bass and pickerel. The lodge itself is very spacious and cozy. It was amazing to have our own firepit and bbq. The area is beautiful and quiet with the exception of wildlife. The boats provided were perfect for fishing as the lake is a good size (not overly large). We would definitely recommend coming here if you want a week away in a quiet and peaceful area. Definitely say hello to the owners, they are absolutely wonderful!

Quiet spot, awesome fishing! Cabins are very rustic and in great need of repair. The fishing, quiet lake and are a win for this place. The cabin fell short for us, mice scratching all night, water poring in the front door during a storm, beds very uncomfortable. We know these are rustic cabins, having lived in northern Canada for years, we understand basic maintenance needed on cabins. Grounds are minimally maintained. If you rent a boat bring something to sit on, our bums were sore after the week. Bring everything you might need, very little is supplied, no onsite store for any basics, including worms, ice etc. I am trying to give an honest review, we may return only because of the great fishing, and cheap week.

Great place! The owners are very friendly and hospital. The cottages are equipped with what you need. Showers, comfy beds, fridge, stove, BBQ, microwave, etc. Cottages are spaced out enough that you can have privacy. Great lake views. Lots of fish in the lakes. Canoes and kayaks available for use. Small beach area for the kids. Boat rental available. Good value for a cheap rate. i am definitely coming back!

Beautiful, quiet lake. I’m a novice when it comes to fishing but managed to catch 15 Bass one morning all 2.5-3lbs using one of their rental fishing boats. You’re guaranteed to catch fish here! The owners were very friendly and took the time to walk us through a map of the lakes including dangerously shallow areas and top fishing spots. Kitchen and bathroom were very clean. Our cabin, Fishdom, didn’t have a fire pit but we were able to share one of the others. Be sure to pack toiletries and towels for the washroom. We will be back next summer!

Stayed for 1 week in a lakefront cottage right at the beach. The cottage was ok, it had a rustic charm with no signs of mice or anything and had its own fire pit. The lake was awesome! It wasnt too big but wasnt too small either. We loved how private it felt and the natural shore line was beautiful. Never got skunked once while fishing and had a nice family fish fry of walleye/pickerel at the end of the week. Canoes and kayaks were free to use and we spotted a moose while rowing down the opechee river. We also saw a bald eagle carrying a fish and the loons sang every evening. The owners were very friendly. We definately hope to return someday. Pyatt family

Great place for peace, quiet, and fishing. Two large lakes to play in. Very few other people on the lake so tons of privacy. Caught pickerel, pike and bass. Several cabins of varying sizes to fit your needs. Temagami only 20-30 min away plus two other tackle shops even closer.
