The bathroom tiles had hairs on from previous guests and the walls are paper thin. We could hear snoring and music. Granted the night porter did move us to a quieter room, however all...

We booked a birthday meal here three weeks ago. Turned up at 12pm only to find the doors locked. We found a side door open, only to find the staff having a meeting. Not one person was prepared to help us. They looked at us like we were mad. We took our business elsewhere. Birthday meal partially ruined.

The hotel is both modern and spacious and offers clean accommodation in a friendly environment. The restaurants were large and accommodating to the guests individual requirements and the food and table service were to a high standard

We had our ceremony and wedding breakfast in the Chichester suite with post ceremony drinks in the Essex Barn with photographs in the apple orchard. The staff worked tirelessly to change the Chichester suite...

Stayed at the Chichester during a recent visit to Essex. The hotel is easy to find and has considerable car parking. Reception is genuinely friendly and helpful and the check in process quick and painless. The rooms although not the most modern looking are well equipped and the room I stayed in included a sitting area and widescreen TV with...

I ate here this morning. The staff were less than attentive, the breakfast was pre cooked and kept warm... Not hot... Under lights, the toast was dry, the eggs solid and everything else congealed. The plates were stone cold. ... We had to ask for drinks and not once were we asked how our food was... Probably for the best!!...
