We were due to leave tomorrow on a holiday to FNQ. Our first family trip since 2012. When I got phone service back I rang the accommodation we had booked at Pacific Sands Holiday Apartments at Holloway's Beach to let them know we had been severely impacted by Cycone Debbie, that we had a huge clean up to deal with,...

Apartment was comfortable and had everything needed for a self contained stay. the pool and garden area was lovely - didn't use the BBQ but located nicely. Very close to a quiet beach which is several km long so great for a good walk. Manager was helpful and while not present when I arrived - adequate information and instructions to...

We had a 2 bedroom apartment with full kitchen, bathroom with laundry facilities and a balcony. It was excellent value in an area that it not really built up and touristy. We hired a car so were not reliant on public transport so were able to save lots by staying here for $88 per night. Cheap as chips and clean...

Firstly we had a great stay in this delightful appartment complex in a lovely hidden away seaside village, just North of Cairns Airport. The apartment is good sized, well furnished and comfortable. It has a washing machine and dryer in the large ensuite , with air conditioning in the lounge and main bedroom. There are fans in both bedrooms and...

After spending the first three nights of my recent week in the Cairns area in a very good motel near downtown, I wanted to spend my final four nights in a location a bit out of town and close to the Coral Sea. I found this marvelous apartment complex online and was attracted by the price, as well as the...

Hey All, there was 3 Adults an 1 child staying here for 5 nights and found that there was no service really. The reception hours where poor in my opinion as they didn't open to 9am, but if you’re up there all your tours start then, or earlier. There was terrible lighting going up the stairs (lights where blown/not working),...

Hi All, I have been managing the complex for three weeks when this booking arrived. Firstly the confirmation letter implied to hand in the voucher as soon as practicable after arrival. This was not done. Reminder suggested. No response at Room by Pabx phone call was made. As many tourist travel out of mobile range to Green Island or reef/...

Although it was 6 years ago when we visited Pacific Sands Holiday Apartments, I have to say they were clean, spacious and modern. They were everything a family of 4 could want. So good that after we'd stayed there and then moved off up north to Dayntree, we came back to the same apartments on our way back down the...

One easy block walk to the beach. One/two easy blocks to Cairns bus and 2 lovely restaurants, one beachfront.. Older units but clean and fresh with a relaxing balcony. Super pool for the kids and bbq. We loved it. Peaceful - you should go.

These apartments are ideally suited to families who want to stay at a beach location away from the cbd without the frills and pretentious resort style facilities. Holloways Beach is a great location (mainly residential) with all necessary amenities. Pacific Sands compliments that with low key accommodation but all the necessary inclusions.
