Stayed at this hotel last week and had a fantastic time. Owners and staff very friendly and helpful Location overlooking lake brienz is fabulous, so tranquil and peaceful. The food was delicious and service first class. The room was spacious and clean with a view of the lake. Stayed for seven days wish it had been longer.

My partner was a couple of nights there for a training, I joined her for a night in her room, and the hotel charged 100€ extra for this! I was also amazed that I was not allowed to have breakfast on the terrace, despite perfect weather.

We spent a weekend here and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The hotel is located just a few steps from the lake (Brienzersee). My friend had his birthday and they even gave him a little Birthday cake which was very sweet and thoughtful. We had a mountain and lake view room which was definitely an added value. It is however quite...

Hotel in a good location with good views. If you like a bit of night life you need to travel into town as it's very quiet at night! Hotel was nice and clean and staff were very polite and helpful. Breakfast was good though when things ran out they weren't replenished as quickly as they should have been. Menu for...

Recently returned from a week hol at this hotel. Side lake view just perfect looking down to Brienz. Room nice size with plenty of storage, a little dark due to traditional wood panelling. Could have done with a table lamp in sitting area. No tea making facilities but kettle produced for us and daily replenishment of milk jug. Took own...

Family run hotel, with personal and helpful service. Quiet location, but convenient for the entire Bernese Oberland region. Rooms are not fancy, but have all the necessary requirements. Clean and the breakfast was excellent.

We found this hotel in the last minute and it was a great choice. Really nice experience with great customer service, very large family room (with even kitchen facility), nice breakfast and easy access to the lake. Swimming pool 5-minutes away from the hotel. Family owned hotel offering a very caring service. Kids got smarties on our departure :-)
