We had 2 enjoyable nights here. The staff are the biggest asset, all of them are helpful and friendly. The Restaurant for dinner was ok, but the portions were on the small side and the Oysters were not good. Only hot option at breakfast was boiled eggs. Heated outdoor pool, jacuzzi, cleaning, reception and bar staff all very good.

The hotel is conveniently located in the bay close to shops, restaurants and ferry port. I got an upgrade to ocean view room and it is definitely worth it - you get a balcony and it's lovely to wake up and see the port wake up too. The pool is not big but a great space if you want to splash around a bit. The service is extremely nice and helpful. I will definitely return!

We had one night in this hotel and were very impressed. The staff were so helpful on arrival. We booked a room at the back of the hotel (room 60) which was cheaper, brand new bathroom, quieter and perfect for the night. We had dinner in the hotel which was superb and breakfast was delicious too. I wouldn’t stay in the area too long but perfect for our needs before commencing our coastal walk.

We booked this for our 10th wedding anniversary and was very excited to stay here for the night. I confirmed with the hotel to have a bottle of champagne in our room on our arrival as a surprise for my husband, sadly it wasn’t there when we arrived , so I walked half a mile to Super U for another then on my return the receptionist bought the champagne to my room, when I phoned down and told her I wouldn’t be needing it she slammed the phone down on me and was very rude! This completely ruined our weekend! The room looked nothing like it did in the photos, it was old and dated, other ppls hairs on the coffee cups, dust everywhere and everything was dirty , the towels were stained! All in all a very very bad experience and we will never get the time back for our very special anniversary. Please don’t ever stay here and waste your money

We booked the hotel room 3 months in advance, with special instructions for champagne and flowers to be in the room upon arrival. We have numerous email confirmations that it was ok to do that. Upon arrival, no champagne, no flowers in our room. We waited for approximately 1hr 30mins, but still no champagne or flowers. We then walked 12mins to nearest super u to purchase champagne. Once we got back to the hotel they then tried to give us champagne and flowers. My wife explained that it wasn't in our room, so we assumed it had been forgotten about. At that point the receptionist ( Katel ) was very argumentative, after a little disagreement she said and I quote " just drink it we wont charge you" and slammed the phone down. 2 mins later she was banging on our door demanding it back, which we did untouched. This then made my wife upset and slightly ruined what was supposed to be a memorable night. ( 10 years married ). The rooms are extremely small, not like the photos on booking.com. The room was dirty, with stains on towels and bed sheets. The curtain pole fell off the wall in the night. The only good thing about the hotel is the location and the spa, swimming pool area. Definitely not worth 150€ per night. I would highly recommend not staying here at any cost. Also to note, we tried to complain but apparently manager was not available and receptionist refused to give her name. ( we found her name on our bill )
