I stayed at this hostel, on my way to Weston Super Mare. The room was comfortable and warm. I did self catering this time, the kitchen being well equipped. There were people eating in the cafe and food looked good. This hostel is in a quiet location and is attached to a farm, recommended.

Stayed here with the family for a few nights at half term. The only reason I don't give this 5/5 is that, well, it's a youth hostel, so comparing this directly with the Jumeirah Emirates in Dubai is a bit tricky. For instance, the wifi was a bit dodgy; and if you're not used to waiting your turn for the...

Stayed at this hostel as wanting to visit Stonehenge. The feel of the hostel was that of a rural one and the guy that was on reception (sorry didn't ask his name!) was so friendly and had great advice for the surrounding area. Always making sure that we had everything we needed. Comfy beds and great showers. Ended up going...

Had a wonderful 2 night stay here with my 2 children this week. What a perfect spot for families. Our bedroom overlooked the fairy garden, and had views across to the sheep. The farm was straight out of the youth hostel door. menu was basic but well cooked, full English breakfast was good too. Fantastic friendly atmosphere created by the...

The hostel was clean and tidy. Decently stocked kitchen. Nice clean showers and bathrooms. However, the mattress in the larger rooms need to be replaced. You can feel every spring and they are squeaky. Prepare yourself as you may have a sore back in the morning. The farm attractions are an added bonus.

Welcoming staff, who explained everything & showed me to the room. We did book a 6 bed female en suite room, we were placed in an 8 bed room without an explanation. The farm was amazing & we had a lot of fun on the tree top trail. Kitchen was stocked, & we were able to use some items for...

I stayed here after returning from Isle of Wight, with the intention to visit the Hawk Conservancy. The hostel is attached to a farm, cost included access. I opted for single accommodation, which was a two bed room. The farm has rare breed animals including pigs, sheep and goats. The breakfast costs around £5 and is very good. The is...

I had to stay at Chorlderton Youth Hostel for 2 weeks in feb/march as I had a temp job in Salisbury. The staff are extremely helpful and accomodating. They were often going the extra mile to help too. I also met a lot of interesting guests and enjoyed my stay here very much. I would suggest bringing a car as...

This is a good hostel located on a farm, well deserving of it's four star rating. It is close to Stonehenge and Salisbury, both well worth a visit, the hostel is in a quiet location and suitable for families, some rooms have private facilities. The breakfast is extra but well worth the cost. The farm is also worth visiting.
