Went for lunch on Sunday. Make sure you book a table as it is a very busy place. Roast was fantastic and served very fast too. We both had roast beef and it was tender and moreish. staff are friendly and the place has a nice family feel to it.
Will be back very soon.

Arrived to a friendly welcome from duty staff. Very good bar and lounge, our room was spacious and quirky in a good way. The shower in the bathroom had hot or cold water but nothing in between, also there were no grab handles on the bath or wall. On mentioning the shower I was to

Firstly, thank you for your online review and your positive comments, although I am somewhat disappointed you felt the need to exclude other positives you mentioned in your email, such as our excellent food offering and your enjoyable dinner. I am sorry you experienced a fault with your shower. This was rectified the day you checked out. Unfortunately we are unable to foresee these faults in advance. I am also in agreement with you about the grab handles. We are in the process of installing these in every bathroom. With regards to your comments about the wine, unfortunately this is more an issue of your unreasonable personal expectations as opposed to our offering. We serve eight wines by the glass. Your expectation for us to provide every grape or grape combination by the glass is unreasonable. You were also offered a choice of two shiraz to buy by the bottle at a very reasonable £19.00 with the ability to take any remaining wine home. Finally, upon finishing dinner, your wife commented on how lovely her meal was. In your email you said the same. Once again (as is often the case with online reviews) it appears the negatives during your stay have been exaggerated and the positives subdued - after all, you had already sent us a pleasant email. Nevertheless, thank you for choosing to stay with us. Ido Davids

Excellent! Small room at the top, 5' bed shower and loo. Tea coffee and water provided in the room. Lovely breakfast and brilliant tasty evening meal. The pie was huge and full of steak and the calves liver amazing. May seem expensive on the menu but the actual meal was well wort

This hotel/Inn emanates an air of old fashioned class, from the original lithographic prints to the dining room. The menu was extensive for dinner, I visited with an old friend we’d never been previously. The Moroccan soup was first rate same as I’d make it from Arabic receipt or

We are 3 sisters travelling with our 88 year mother. We will arrive on May 17th and leave on the 19th. I understand there is no elevator? Is it possible to get 2 rooms, but one on the lowest floor? We do not want her to climb flights of stairs.
Hello I am afraid we don't have any rooms on the ground floor you mentioned, a lift/elevator. If you get in touch with us with dates of travel, we could check which rooms we have available on the first floor if this is suitable. Best wishes Pembroke Arms Hotel
