I have eaten here a few times. Staff are friendly. Food is very good. What is on the menu is exactly what you get. All the food is reasonably priced. I have tried there breakfast menu as well. A returning customer.

I used to pass through Claregalway as a child and loved the beautiful abbey ruins and the arch bridge. However, the frantic building during the boom was often accomplished without much thought to aesthetics and modern Claregalway has the look of a US strip mall. That said, it's a handy location for Galway city and east county Galway and is... More

We had lunch and the place was busy. Mixture of clientele. We chose soup and sandwiches-the helpful waitress suggested the special-this worked out cheaper than what we ordered which was basically the same thing but we were grateful for her help. I ordered the garlic mushrooms which were to be honest bland. The soup/sandwiches were tasty. I would return and... More

This hotel was booked on impulse for one night, as my wife and I were staying about an hour away from Galway City and wanted to spend a day in the city. We were pleasantly surprised with a small modern hotel. Staff from the receptionist through to the bar and waitressing were very helpful and pleasant to converse with. The... More

Newer style of hotel just outside Galway. Really comfortable. Friendly staff. Nice bar and dining room. Close to shops for essentials. Great value for money. Clean, warm and great bed. What more do you need?

Stayed here last night as we had a wedding. Lovely spot- we ended up staying in one of the apartments. They are about a two minute walk from the hotel but they would be ideal for a family as there was a small secure back garden. The place was spotless. We had a lovely cooked to order breakfast. The staff... More

Visited this htl 2 weeks ago with my sister and her daughter who are both coeliac for late Sunday lunch! The waitress who took our order seemed to have very little experience with dealing with coeliacs and a gluten free diet!!! When asked if we could have the turkey plain without the stuffing she replied we can scrape it off!!!... More
