Rooms were clean and new. I think just about everything at the hotel was new. The pool also was beautiful and the bar/restaurant made it a very easy experience for our little family vacation. The guy in reception was really nice, they put a crib/playpen in our room for our baby. Oh yeah and there's an onsite surf shop with... More

Hotel Santa Catalina certainly stands out as a beautiful, well maintained, friendly place to stay in Sanata Catalina. The staff is professional, courteous and pleasant. Shenida, I and my sun-burnt face thank you for the slice of aloe vera plant (quickly produced while taking care of a million other things during the re-dedication of the new restaurant). The restaurant offers... More

From the moment of first contact by email, Shenida was quick (how does she do this because she was ALWAYS available while we were there too??), courteous, and generous with over the top service. Santa Catalina Hotel is well located (among the various beaches and close enough to town), clean, awesome food, and comfortable in every way (and I am... More

Great hotel, good food, directly in front of the point, eat breakfast while watching barrels spit. My wife could swim in the pool while watching me surf. The free bike rentals were awesome as it was much better than walking everywhere in the heat. Staff were very knowledgeable about area and waves.

I've just returned to Panama City from the most relaxing weekend spent at Hotel Santa Catalina & I am already booking my next stay. The property design itself is perfectly placed with ocean-front view, overlooking one of the most prime surfing spots (made easily accessible). The rooms are clean and cozy; adorned with beautiful wood detailing and an amazing natural... More

My family and I stayed at the Hotel Santa Catalina in late November. The rooms are very clean, the location is ideal for both surfing and views. The pool was located on the ocean side of the bar and restaurant that sat on a bluff overlooking the ocean. Additionally, the staff gave great recommendations for the area. We didn't want... More
