We initially wanted to stay in the main house at Cretaiole, but since there was no availabillity, we stayed in the apartment in Castelmuzio. What a wonderful place, I wished we had stayed for two weeks! The hospitality that was shown to us and the events that were planned were amazing. The villages had awesome views, beautiful winding roads that...

Tucked into a charming village of 200 residents, surrounded by awe-inspiring views, is a darling apartment perfect for a couple. Le Casine di Castello has 2 units. The upstairs, has 2 bedrooms and 2 baths while the main floor unit, El Nido, has 1 bedroom, 1 huge bathroom, a nice kitchen and a terrace with patio furniture and a grill....

We stayed in a cozy apartment called Il Nido in the heart of Castelmuzio which is a beautiful, quiet, authentic Tuscan hilltop village. Il Nido had ancient brick walls and arching brick ceilings. It opened onto our own private terrace which proved perfect for morning breakfasts and late night romantic drinks. Il Nido is naturally cooled by the thick brick...

Six years ago we spent a fabulous week enjoying the Moricciani family's hospitality at Cretaiole. The day we left we vowed to return. We were fortunate enough to do so this past June for another week-long stay.. This time we chose the Il Nido apartment at Le Casine di Castello in the lovely little village of Castelmuzio. From the moment...

I highly recommend staying at Le Casine di Castello. My family and I had a wonderful stay there and we are looking forward to going back. Isabella is the best and really made our stay very special. Castelmuzio is a very old, charming town. It is centrally located, allowing you to easily visit other Tuscan towns. You will not regret...

We just returned from a vacation in Italy and this was our 2nd stay in "Il Nido". Our 2nd stay was every bit as wonderful as the first. It could not have been more perfect! Isabella and Carlo, our hosts, love what they do, and it shows in every way. Carlotta, who works very closely with Isabella, is another member...

We thought we were in for a treat when we booked with Isabella, but walking into Il Cielo in Castelmuzio was a "Wow" moment. We went from room to room, and were thrilled at each welcoming touch. It was perfect for two couples. We had a car to explore the villages and special sights in Isa's Big Book. Much of...

Our stay at il Nido was more than we ever imagined! We traveled Italy and haven't found a place better. The apartment had a want for nothing. Dolce vita included all the food and tours of the best of the best places to explore and discover of many Tuscan towns. We are going back for 3 weeks next year!

Our time at Cretaioli/Le Casine di Castello, was perfect. All of our expectations were surpassed. We stayed in Il Cielo with our three young children (10,8 and 6). Everything about the apartment was lovely-- the spread of food, the bedding, the views, and even the toiletries. The bathroom/shower/amenities made me feel like I was at a spa!! My only complaint...
