We stayed here for four nights in the Frantoio Suite and I have mixed feelings about this place and the service you get. The village and beach of Castel di Tusa is approx. 10 min. away by car. The Frantoio Suite has a small bar area which is not suitable for self-catering. We had diner at the Masseria all four...

After our lovely 2011 holiday at Masseria Maggiore we returned in 2012. Again it was fantastic! This year Rosalba and Giulio were accompanied by their daughter Francesca and granddaughter Aurora. We again enjoyed the magnificent surroundings, lovely food and above all the hospitality of the entire family. Rosalba told us that according to a traditional saying there is no second...

Never having stayed in an agriturismo before, we arrived unsure as to what to expect. It was perfect from the moment we arrived and were greeted by Rosalba to the moment she waved us goodbye. A very comfortable room with everything we could need, beautiful surroundings, peace and quiet, just the sound of goat bells, birds and cicadas, a lovely...

We spent 9 nights at this very nice 16th Century Old Sicilian House with a strong family roots, made of stone and with very comfortable rooms, beautiful surroundings with olive trees, mountains and typical coast towns nearby. My wife and I travelled with 3 kids and we enjoyed the home-made breakfast and food, the pool, peaceful environment and obviously all...

We had a lovely stay for 13 nights in the Colonnica appartment. We're used to visit agriturismos, but Masseria Maggiore really goes beyond each expectation. It's located in a lovely valley with seaside view. It's a perfect location to visit the other parts of the great Sicilian island. The appartments are very complete, each with it's own historical characteristics. The...

We have just come back from 2 weeks in Sicily with a week spent at the Masseria Maggiore and loved it. From the moment we arrived Rosalba the owner was there to greet us and made us feel at home. The site is difficult to find down a bumpy track but well worth it when you get there. The buildings...
