#3 of 8 Speciality lodging in Ear Falls
Timberlane Lodge is a drive-in fishing resort just a few miles from Ear Falls, Ontario on Lac Seul. Our family has lived, fished, hunted and worked in the Ear Falls, Ontario, area for decades and we put that lifetime of outdoor activity to work for our guests who stay at Timberlane Lodge on Lac Seul. Our fishing boats and motors are clean, reliable, safe and fisherman-friendly. The cabins have been painted, new ones built, older ones remodeled and we’ve added little touches here and there that really make our guests feel comfortable and appreciated. The walleye fishing on Lac Seul and the action packed northern pike and smallmouth bass fishing will keep you busy on the water; the bear and moose hunting will exceed your expectations, and the bird and small game hunting provide lots of action. The walleye fishing on Lac Seul is legendary. Northern pike and smallmouth bass are plentiful and lots of fun for the whole family. And if you like big game hunting for moose and bear, small game and grouse, we have extensive hunting experience in the Ear Falls area and can guide you to some real trophies.

We arrived in ear falls after a long day of travel for a work trip and we’re immediately greeted by the very friendly owners. We were given the choice of cabin and decided to stay at the lakefront right in front of the boat launch. The cabin was in good shape and had plenty of space for the 4 of us (8 beds). We had an issue with the hot water tank on night 2 of our stay and it was addressed immediately after bringing it to the owners attention. While we were there, they were doing upgrades on several of the other cabins so I’m sure the next stay will be even better! Would definitely recommend

I first stayed at timberlane August long weekend and fell in love with the place. I again stayed there for the week I was evacuated from my community due to a forest fire. These owners were fantastic the way they welcomed my family and I along with our fur babies with such warmth and kindness. Considering it was such short notice and a very late arrival the owners were amazing. The kindness they showed and making sure we had everything we needed in our cabins meant a lot considering the stressful circumstances. As recently new owners I would gladly go back and support them, and their camp, such friendly people. Timberlane is truly a beautiful location. Thanks for making us fell so welcome!

We have been vacationing at Timberlane with our family and friends for the last 7 years. Timberlane is a great place for a family vacation, every year I ask my kids where they would like to go for a summer vacation? Their replies are always the same “Timberlane!”  Between the great fishing and shorelunches are the beach and water activities, relaxing or kayaking. The host’s, Vance and Wendy, are very friendly and accommodating and even though they’re Winnipeg Jets fans we understand that not everyone is perfect. However, the accommodations and the lake are perfect! Lac Seul is one of the premier walleye fisheries in Canada and a fun lake to explore and fish. Ear Falls is close by for any items needed or forgotten for the trip. I could sit here and write forever about how great Timberlane is for a family-fishing vacation spot but I would highly recommend you try it for yourself!

Spent the last week of May at Timberlane Lodge in Ear Falls, On. On Lac Seul. Can't wait to go back! Never thought it was possible to catch so many Walleye in 1 week. I live close to what I thought was one of the best Walleye lakes any where. Beautiful resort, top notch equipment and boats. Great water front cabins and everything we needed for a perfect stay. Short drive to bait shop for tackle you forgot, and grocery store close. Thanks Wendy and Vance for a vacation I will never forget!

Only by experiencing it yourself, will you know how great accommodations are, beautiful it is and how great the fishing is. A true fishing getaway for just the guys, or with a partner or the family. Gorgeous sun rise and set. Cabins are really nice.
