Timberlane Lodge is a drive-to vacation resort a few miles from Ear Falls, Ontario Canada on Lac Seul. We have 9 housekeeping cabins. The cabins are constantly being upgraded. We are adding little touches like shelving in the kitchens and bathrooms to make our cabins more comfortable and user friendly. The walleye fishing on Lac Seul is legendary. Northern pike and smallmouth bass are plentiful, and the lake will provide lots of fun for the entire family. Timberlane Lodge has fishing boat rentals, and our fisherman-friendly camp boats are safe, deep v 17ft, with reliable Yamaha motors. The bear and moose hunting can exceed your expectations. 500 lb bear and 60 inch moose have been taken locally, and the bird and small game hunting can provide lots of action. Inquire about hunting opportunities available through Timberlane Lodge.

Detailed Reviews
I first stayed at timberlane August long weekend and fell in love with the place. I again stayed there for the week I was evacuated from my community due to a forest fire. These owners were fantastic the way they welcomed my family and I along with our fur babies with such warmth and kindness. Considering it was such short notice and a very late arrival the owners were amazing. The kindness they showed and making sure we had everything we needed in our cabins meant a lot considering the stressful circumstances. As recently new owners I would gladly go back and support them, and their camp, such friendly people. Timberlane is truly a beautiful location.
Thanks for making us fell so welcome!

We arrived in ear falls after a long day of travel for a work trip and we’re immediately greeted by the very friendly owners. We were given the choice of cabin and decided to stay at the lakefront right in front of the boat launch. The cabin was in good shape and had plenty of space for the 4 of us (8 beds). We had an issue with the hot water tank on night 2 of our stay and it was addressed immediately after bringing it to the owners attention. While we were there, they were doing upgrades on several of the other cabins so I’m sure the next stay will be even better! Would definitely recommend

We have been staying at Timberlane for the past 6 years, and we continue to grow the size of our group. We currently rent 3 cabins with groups of 6,4, and 4. This consists of friends and family members that love hunting and fishing. Wendy and Vance offer excellent accomodations that include top of the line boat/motor for every 2 people in our group. Location on the Lac Seul allows us to venture near and far for Walleyes and Northern. We have stayed in several other lodges in the area, and they were dissappointments. We will be back in the Fall of 2018.

We have been vacationing at Timberlane with our family and friends for the last 7 years. Timberlane is a great place for a family vacation, every year I ask my kids where they would like to go for a summer vacation? Their replies are always the same “Timberlane!” Between the great fishing and shorelunches are the beach and water activities, relaxing or kayaking. The host’s, Vance and Wendy, are very friendly and accommodating and even though they’re Winnipeg Jets fans we understand that not everyone is perfect. However, the accommodations and the lake are perfect! Lac Seul is one of the premier walleye fisheries in Canada and a fun lake to explore and fish. Ear Falls is close by for any items needed or forgotten for the trip. I could sit here and write forever about how great Timberlane is for a family-fishing vacation spot but I would highly recommend you try it for yourself!

Spent the last week of May at Timberlane Lodge in Ear Falls, On. On Lac Seul. Can't wait to go back! Never thought it was possible to catch so many Walleye in 1 week. I live close to what I thought was one of the best Walleye lakes any where. Beautiful resort, top notch equipment and boats. Great water front cabins and everything we needed for a perfect stay. Short drive to bait shop for tackle you forgot, and grocery store close. Thanks Wendy and Vance for a vacation I will never forget!

Only by experiencing it yourself, will you know how great accommodations are, beautiful it is and how great the fishing is. A true fishing getaway for just the guys, or with a partner or the family. Gorgeous sun rise and set. Cabins are really nice.

Loved the place! Great accommodations and even better fishing. The lake is big enough that you’re really never done exploring. The hosts are super nice and attentive. My Dad and I always talking about going back! We may do another trip next year.

My family comes up every year and we love everything about staying at Timberlane. The fishing is fantastic, and you don’t have to go far to find them. The cabins and boats are very nice, and very affordable.

Have been to Timberlane a few times in August combining a little hunting and a little fishing. It’s a great place and run really well. Vance and Wendy are great people and know how to take care of you. If you’re going to run the back roads make sure you have a spare tire! Vance can help you with that if you have problems. Trust me.
