They do not accommodate late check in. They did not offer late check in fee or any other accommodation. They stated that they would only leave the door open and the key within the room. Leaving it unmonitored for hours prior to our arrival. Obviously this is incredibly unsafe and unacceptable. They also were unreasonable with cancellation on this basis. They charged us despite these circumstances and would not provide any response when questioned on these practices of unsafely leaving rooms open for hours prior to guests arrival.
My week-end at the spa retirement gift was disappointing. The package was called "A gourmet culinary experience". It no longer exists and we were offered the regular 3 course meal from the bistro menu. Sounded good. It was not! The choices were limited, the duck I ordered was chewy and leathery, the dessert was served in a plastic cup and the meal was done in under 1 hour. This was in no way gourmet nor leisurely, nor tasty. The spa did not compensate me for the altered package. This is not good business. I will not go back.
Very nice venue for relaxation. Spa pools were great. They claimed on the hotels.com site you needed to bring bed sheets, lol. Not true. Breakfast was continental but very satisfying. Bring a robe for the spa, not included in hotels.com booking. Note if you book one night, access to the spa ends at noon. Two hours was plenty for us.
Unfortunately, the hotel I went to excitedly seeing its nature and visuals was a disappointment for me and my husband. In addition The room was in the basement. if you do not ask even when you are given the key, it is definitely not reported and you are shocked. It was a terrible experience to see the air conditioner and the building opposite instead of the view in nature. It has to be stated in the hotel system that the room is in the basement. This is a very important issue for a hotel where you go for the view and nature. Also, you have to eat breakfast in your small dark room, not in a restaurant environment. You can see this in the note that says when you come to your room! The breakfast you had to eat in the dark room was also a concern about hygiene with blackened apple slices. 6 slices of blackened apple for 2 people! It was like a boarding school! Sleeping by the lamplight complete with a spider web and a spider next to your bed was like a horror movie. We waited for half an hour for the attendant who spoke on the phone both during check-in and check-out. Unfortunately, she continued to speak without apologizing. Please don't be fooled by the photos! …
We were at the L’Oasis de l’Île, Urban Getaway- Hotel & Spa for the first time for the long weekend in Sept 2022. We love the ease of everything there. It is a small location, just can't be beat. The rooms are gorgeous. We especially love the hot and cold baths, whirlpool, dry sauna, steam bath (our favourite) , as well as a four-season solarium. Just need to keep the bath open later, 9pm on a weekend seems early. We tried to book a couple messages but seemed to be booked for the whole weekend, a little disappointing. We will definitely be back!
This was the worst place ever and I stay all over the places service there advertising not true at all the pool they make you pay $35 per person for your kids our if your to hurly $20 it’s a $79 hotel but charge you 300 plus don’t get in there you will regret it
Had a nice relaxing 1 night stay. The couples massage by Dianne and Sophie where amazing and the entire staff was friendly, curtious & seem to enjoy their jobs. The rooms where very clean exept for the drinking glasses and there was a lack of hangers (2). The tubs looked nice at first glance and then realised how much stuff was at the bottom, and a few not functional. The building and facilities need some tender love & care. At first glance everything looks nice and then you start to see all the dead trees, basic landscaping, a roof and windows that are well overdue. And a bunch of sheds/gazebos that need to be fixed. 2 docs that are closed off probably for years now. If it's not going to get fixed, it should be removed as it it an eye sore. Although the facilities were tired, I can't express enough how the staff is what makes this place so great. Mr. Sow, the cook was outstanding and we ate like kings. The young lady that served us dinner on May 20th was also outstanding and nade delicious rose sangria. Thanks again to the wonderful staff for making our stay so enjoyable.…
I have been visiting this establishment for years now this time it was disappointing we stayed 2 nights Friday Saturday and left on Sunday their was no available massage ( for staying guest) and I always get massages wen I stay as for dinner well lights were very bright their was no music but the food was ok breakfast that did lack in variety toast, hard boiled egg, one choice of cheese yogurts and that is it and I was also told they were not gonna make a pot of decaf just for me so if I wanted a decaf I was gonna pay for an expresso this never happened in the passed for our room our room was clean although our robes were sadly due for retirement one had both pockets ripped (could not even put room key in it would of fallen out) and the other could not even place belt on it was ripped on both sides as well…
This is a very cute little place on an island. The hotel was very nice, massages were excellent. I have only ever had one massage better than this and it was in Old Montreal. Denis is a master. The food in the dinner restaurant is superb. The outdoor baths do need a lot of work. The sauna is not working and neither was the steam room. A big staff need to do a thorough cleaning of the baths and the hot tub needs to be hot not warm. Overall we were glad we went and would probably go again. Not on a weekend though as they sell day passes and it is very crowded.
We stayed 1 night at l’oasis de l’île and we were very disappointed. The hotel is very dirty, the carpet in the hallways are full of stains, a disgusting smell, the furniture in the room is outdated and has a lot of scuffs, etc. The spa was even worst, it’s not properly maintained, the water was very dirty, weeds growing through the interlock, hammocks were broken and the dock full of holes. The only good think about this place was the restaurant, the food was really good. I would definitely not return to this place and would not recommend it. A lot of updating and maintenance is needed. It’s too bad since the location is great!
