My wife reserved the Ultimate Friday Getaway package which included access to the spa, the diner, a room with a king sized bed and a massage for two.

The room itself was clean and the bed confortable.
However, when we came back to the room in the evening, we noticed that the room’s AC unit wasn’t working. After 2 hours of trying the different options, the room was hot and damp. So, we opened the windows and had to leave the curtains partly opened to get some fresh air coming in.

The supper was not that good. We both took the Atlantic cod, with different choices of sauce. The cod itself was way too cooked and there was some rubberish edges to it.

After supper, we went on a stroll on the hotel’s ground. The spa section is well done. However, we noticed a lot of old junk (broken swings, broken chairs, derelict sheds) tossed around the grounds.

The massage itself was good for me. The lady that provided it was really charming and efficient. The massage lasted for the full hour and the location was clean.

Upon returning to the room, we showered and went to sleep. At 3AM, we had blue, green and red lights hitting our room window. Remember, the AC isn’t working that much, so the curtains are partly open. I went down to the lobby area… to find it closed. No staff around. A sign in the lobby door explains that no staff is around after 9PM.

Went back to the room, tried to go back to sleep. With the spots hitting the window, it is a no go.

Looking to the ceiling, we noticed some bubbled area. Looks like there was some kind of water damage coming up.

We packed our belongings and left the room at 4AM to return home.

In the morning, after 9AM, I phoned the lobby from home, explaining that the night and stay wasn’t up to expectation. The very young lady that answered didn’t even offer some form of compensation for the disagreement.

If you have to stay in the area, do not go there.

It is a beautiful site, but the caretaking has to step-up.

Nice peaceful place
We stayed here for one night, we didn’t use the pools, the place does need some work. We had a nice breakfast on the terrace outside at the end of our hallway. The room was small, it was the room with the fireplace, bed was comfortable. We sat out on the deck over looking the lake. Bring your own snacks/food and drinks as the restaurant is only open Saturday and Sundays. I would stay again.

We stayed one night in the Hotel, but did not use the spa.

Overall it was a very positive experience.

We had a "Comfort" category room on the 2nd floor with two double beds, on a Saturday night.

The room was spacious and clean, and in nice condition.

We enjoyed the gas fireplace (nice for a romantic evening), and the beds were pretty comfy.

The room was quiet and we were not disturbed by other guests.

The included breakfast was in their dining room and was good. It was buffet style, with scrambled eggs / bacon / sausages / fruit / yogurt / toast / etc. Nothing extraordinary, but it was fine.

I was happy with the stay, and would recommend the hotel.

They do not accommodate late check in. They did not offer late check in fee or any other accommodation. They stated that they would only leave the door open and the key within the room. Leaving it unmonitored for hours prior to our arrival. Obviously this is incredibly unsafe and unacceptable. They also were unreasonable with cancellation on this basis. They charged us despite these circumstances and would not provide any response when questioned on these practices of unsafely leaving rooms open for hours prior to guests arrival.

Unfortunately, the hotel I went to excitedly seeing its nature and visuals was a disappointment for me and my husband. In addition The room was in the basement. if you do not ask even when you are given the key, it is definitely not reported and you are shocked. It was a terrible experience to see the air conditioner and the building opposite instead of the view in nature. It has to be stated in the hotel system that the room is in the basement. This is a very important issue for a hotel where you go for the view and nature. Also, you have to eat breakfast in your small dark room, not in a restaurant environment. You can see this in the note that says when you come to your room! The breakfast you had to eat in the dark room was also a concern about hygiene with blackened apple slices. 6 slices of blackened apple for 2 people! It was like a boarding school! Sleeping by the lamplight complete with a spider web and a spider next to your bed was like a horror movie.
We waited for half an hour for the attendant who spoke on the phone both during check-in and check-out. Unfortunately, she continued to speak without apologizing. Please don't be fooled by the photos!

Absolutely disappointing experience. Lack of staff and the staff that were there, well too say they were disengaged, would be an understatement. Breakfast was an hour late, which caused a ripple effect for our massages, causing us to pay extra to be there! There was no bistro open the night before, so no food. The facilities such as the lounges, hot pools and sauna were dirty and some were not even functioning.

If you are looking for a peaceful, serene and rejuvenating experience look no farther than this beautiful and quiet spa and hotel. The service, room, spa, massage and food will help you recharge your batteries and fully relax. The location is also beautiful on an island with nature all around. I come several times a year for the day and overnight. My experience coming with friends is just as good as when alone. I highly recommend it as a solo or girls getaway trip.

We were at the L’Oasis de l’Île, Urban Getaway- Hotel & Spa for the first time for the long weekend in Sept 2022. We love the ease of everything there. It is a small location, just can't be beat. The rooms are gorgeous. We especially love the hot and cold baths, whirlpool, dry sauna, steam bath (our favourite) , as well as a four-season solarium. Just need to keep the bath open later, 9pm on a weekend seems early.
We tried to book a couple messages but seemed to be booked for the whole weekend, a little disappointing.
We will definitely be back!

Had a nice relaxing 1 night stay. The couples massage by Dianne and Sophie where amazing and the entire staff was friendly, curtious & seem to enjoy their jobs. The rooms where very clean exept for the drinking glasses and there was a lack of hangers (2). The tubs looked nice at first glance and then realised how much stuff was at the bottom, and a few not functional. The building and facilities need some tender love & care. At first glance everything looks nice and then you start to see all the dead trees, basic landscaping, a roof and windows that are well overdue. And a bunch of sheds/gazebos that need to be fixed. 2 docs that are closed off probably for years now. If it's not going to get fixed, it should be removed as it it an eye sore. Although the facilities were tired, I can't express enough how the staff is what makes this place so great. Mr. Sow, the cook was outstanding and we ate like kings. The young lady that served us dinner on May 20th was also outstanding and nade delicious rose sangria. Thanks again to the wonderful staff for making our stay so enjoyable.

The room was great!
The dinner on Saturday night was good but the service was very very slow!
Was very disappointed on the service.
We got our supper before getting our drinks.
Had to remind the bartender that drinks were ordered before our diner.
Description on the menu should be detailed.
For example carbonara was ordered but it had blue cheese in the recipe, wasn't able to eat half because I don't like blue cheese.
Wasted supper.
Breakfast on the last day was awful.
It was reheated from the previous day.
Yogurt was expired as well.

Merci Rock and Josée
