The Premier Inn Edinburgh Airport (M9, Jct1) hotel is widely recognized for its prime location close to the airport and the cleanliness that guests often highlight, particularly noting the immaculate rooms. While the accommodations are praised for comfort and space, some guests feel the decor could use a refresh and note issues with noise. The staff is typically described as friendly and welcoming, although there are occasional mentions of slow service.
While the amenities are considered basic by some, the beds earn particular acclaim for their comfort. Despite its isolated position and concerns about additional costs for taxis and food, many travelers regard the hotel as offering reasonable value.

As we were visiting friends in Edinburgh, we had booked this Premier Inn some time ago. We parked the car then went to the reception to check in. This was handled very efficiently by the young receptionist. We were asked if we required any meals and on saying breakfast, asked what time we would like it.
The room we were allocated was in spotless condition and everything had been thoroughly cleaned. The next morning we had the full breakfast which was good value. We were served by a very pleasant waiter who took our order for food and drinks. These were served quickly- everything was hot. The only improvement I would suggest that small receptacles could be put on the table for any rubbish and cleared away when the table was cleared. The breakfast room was very clean and there were partitions between each table. After people left, the tables, chairs, chair legs and the partitions were wiped clean thoroughly. Normally we stay here 2 or 3 times a year, and my only complaint is having to pay for car parking. Couldn't the hotel reimburse clients in some way for this? It's the only hotel we use that charges for parking.
Hope to see you in 2021.

premier Inn was very clean and staff very nice, we didn't eat at the cafe at night as there is now a limited menu and nothing i fancied so we opted to use just eat and have food delivered.
we had breakfast in the morning which was nice as always with everything clean and again friendly staff.
parking is chargeable but they've got rid of the stupid machine that took an age to figure out how to work!!! so it is either online or by phone i did it online before i left to save any messing at the hotel
will be staying here again!!

Stay at Edinburgh airport 6/7/2021 ref AZXR211876
On arrival after 3pm after travelling for 6 hours we just wanted to get in the room and freshen up as we had dinner reservations. The receptionist sheepishly told us that the bed linen for the hotel had not arrived and our room wasn’t ready. We were only offered to be refunded as there was no other hotel available for us to be moved to. We decided to wait as at that late hour, trying to book another hotel would have been more hassle. Finally when some bed linen was found, and our room made up, we got in to our room only to discover the windows were unable to be opened and the rooms temperature controlled by an air cooling system. We tried to drop the temperature as it was a warm day (23 degrees!) but we were unable to drop the temperature below 22 in the room. When this was flagged up to the staff they reset this, but then the temperature would only sit at 30 degrees!!! After complaining again, the rude manager advised that she was unable to get the temperature below 19 and informed us there was nothing she could do. We were then provided with two fans for the room, one which was broken, and to be honest we’re pretty useless and didn’t really do much to lower the temperature of the room. As a result, my partner was violently sick overnight as he had overheated in the room, and none of us, including our 9 year old daughter, got any sleep. On advising the hotel of this, they provided us the number to contact customer services and complain under the good nights sleep guarantee to get our money back, and still to this day I have heard nothing back. Thanks premier inn for an awful experience and not even offering us any sort of compensation for the upset and discomfort you caused our family, what should have been a nice relaxing trip away was turned into a horrible experience that my family will remember for a long time. As my partner and I put both key workers, you can understand in the current climate why this break was very much needed both for our physical and mental health.

Stayed for one night on business. For such a massive hotel there were very few guests as a direct result fo the level 3 lockdown in Scotland. Cheap overnight room rate but £6 for overnight parking. Restaurant only serviced microwaved dinners so popped to the local supermarket for a sandwich and beer. Had breakfast in the morning and was the only guest in the restaurant... staff very friendly and covid safe, took my order and everything was cooked to order - none of the usual buffet style as a result fo the low numbers.
One observation is this hotel is one fo the older style Premier inns and the beds are 3/4 size not king size as per other locations and the TVs very small and mounted in the wardrobe unit but for £26 a night it was ideal for an overnight stay.

Stopped off here for the night as we had a late arriving plane land at Edinburgh airport. Not really at the airport , and few miles drive away and hidden in the middle of a trading estate. No'one at reception so had to call for staff.Girl was friendly enough at check in, but I was a bit annoyed when my husband had spent over 5 minute in the cold and snow outside trying to get a ticket for the car parking ( £5 for 24 hrs) when she said it hasn't been working all day. She apologised and added our car reg to a list for the wardens to make sure we didn't get a fee. Went to our rooms which were standard Premier Inn quality, clean, functional , a nice bath and a comfy bed. Only had one set of towels which was a bit annoying but as it was late and tired we didn't worry. Got up early in the morning as our car had made a funny noise on the way from the airport , to drive around the estate for a while before calling the AA. Decided whilst we waited we would have breakfast. Girl running the restaurant was not very friendly , and demanded payment immediately as we hadn't ordered breakfast . ( we had expected to do this, but she could have been a bit more friendly) She almost passed out when we said one of our party were vegan, saying we don't do anything like that for breakfast ( our friend explained even as a vegan you can eat mushrooms, tomatoes , beans and toast! She kindly only charged him for a continental rather than a full breakfast) However what wasn't so good when she came back to say that they had run out of Quorn sausages for our other veggie friend, because people keep eating them. I had the continental breakfast but seemed a very limited choice to other Premier Inn's I have been too. Whist we were eating the AA man arrived and asked if I would give the reception his reg plate number as he had been charged £100 at another Premier Inn whilst repairing a car. I thought this was a pretty simple request , but it was like I was talking another language after 3 attempts she went to get her duty manager and I explained again. She said no problem, but I noticed didn't write anything down, so I am hoping he wasn't picked up on camera and charged. When we left , there was no one at reception so just left the keys. We had a good night sleep and it was convenient for the airport but a bit more interaction and friendliness from the staff wouldn't go amiss

This is just a standard premiere inn just the same as every other one we have stayed at and it is let down by the fact you have to pay for parking. The amazing thing about this premier inn is the staff the level of service they provide is exceptional. They are so respectful and efficient. The breakfast service was excellent they make sure every customer has the best service nothing is to much trouble. We had the best service at dinner it's the sort of service you would expect from a high end establishment the staff really need to be given recognition for the service they provide at this establishment

We stayed for one night after a rugby match at Murrayfield. The hotel is located in Between car garages but that didn’t bother us. If looking to stay here for a trip to Murrayfield it is ideal as the x38 bus stops just along the road from the hotel and there were no crowds to and from the stadium, bus stops right outside Murrayfield. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel restaurant which were both excellent!!

We were given a room close to the main desk which was very handy, I was worried at first that we would be woken up at night when people came back to the hotel but this was not the case. The staff were amazing and bent over backwards to help. Would not hesitate to stay here again. We took the X18 from just down the road into town so worth buying the travel card if you are are going to be spending four plus days here and don’t want to pay high hotel prices in town. The bus trip was about half an hour but it was nice to see things to and from this hotel. Tv was a little small but not really an issue

Stayed for 2 nights 14/15 August for a wee break. Was called the previous day by a very nice lady who reminded me that there would be no evening meals but the bar and seating area would still be open. On arrival a very pleasant chap booked us in and advised that if we wished to order takeaway's for delivery we could use the dining area to eat them. Room was spotless (233) , very quiet and Air Con worked a treat. When I asked for extra pillows they were delivered in a sealed bag there and then. Plenty of hand sanitiser available at various location. Well done guys.

Usually at premier inns we book when we go in for dinner on night of arriival and have breakfast next day. Only hope the breakfast is better than what we tried to eat. Our fault we should have complained. But wont ever go there again. Will always be Edinburgh Park premier inn in future. If you go again go there the tram stop is next to hotel taking you straight to airport.
No, but taxi can be book by direct line and it is a 11 pounds.
Hi Catherine, I didn’t have the need to ask for any print offs , but as already advised try giving them a call , they are very hospitable and friendly
