A good breakfast, included in the price, made up for a restless sleep on "tired" beds. The ground floor has character but the bedrooms are not spacious and lack some comfort. The dinner menu held no surprises but everything was well cooked and presented.
Our experience at the Woolpack echoes other reviews, I’m afraid. On arrival we found the duvet cover was grubby, this was changed without any fuss but in my view it should not have happened in the first place, and wasn’t a good start.

Booked this Inn using Tesco vouchers. Rate £100 BB per room per night. If I had not used the vouchers would of walked out because you only have 1 chance of making a first impression - and the first impression was not good.
