We booked a room in a house next to the main house. It was more expensive than a room in the main house, but they gave us "the best room" in the main house. Water was not hot, fridge not working, doorknob of the bathroom door was falling down every second time of use on both sides of the door....

We had come to stay in Il Trebbiolo for a special family happening, and what a happening it was! The hotel was welcoming with afriendly atmosphere. In addition, its authentic beauty and the mahnificient view over Tuscanian hills made our stay very very special. I recommend Il Trebbiolo to anyone looking a pleasent, typical and yet unique accomodation.

What a lovely time we had at Il Trebbiolo when we stayed in July. The room was beautiful and only outdone by the view! All of our meals were delicious, and dining out on the porch was a lovely treat. It is a such beautiful and peaceful place! We enjoyed walking around the grounds among the olive trees, grape vines...

My first impression arriving in the lobby was not very positive. It was 1:30pm and we had been standing there for 10 minutes before we could talk to someone to check in. The owners who saw us arrive never even got up to welcome us before we asked a waiter about the check in. Wifi is available at a price...

We recently stayed here for 4 days. This hotel is located miles from the nearest village and is in a beautiful location overlooking a Tuscan valley - we enjoyed many meals on the terrace admiring the views. The owners are very welcoming and helpful (as are all the staff). The atmosphere is very relaxing. The grounds are large - full...

We stayed there for 2 nights and it was wonderful, it was a kind of 'relaxed luxury', the views are breathtaking. It is an old Villa, a bit echoey, but with charm. The owner was welcoming and warm. We came from Naples and got lost for 4 hours, so when we finally got there we were fuming, very frustrated and...

There is much to admire and like about Il Trebbiolo. It is the quintessential Tuscan villa, set in vast grounds, and literally miles from anywhere. We chose it to be reasonably close to Florence, without actually being in the city. In fact, Florence is easily reached from nearby Fiesole, using the local bus service, but travellers will need a car...

Stayed at Il Trebbiolo Relais with husband and 2 children in March 2012, when the temperature outdoors was cool and the winds were high. Inside, the building felt like a large, warm, and romantic fortress. We had wonderful privacy while also feeling very well attended to by owner Sabrina. Our room was spacious and there was a second large room...
