The hotels is one of the most ancient buildings of the village, built in local granite at the end of 19th century and totally renewed in 2008, in a contemporary Sardinian style. This boutique hotel is managed by three sisters and they are running it in a very professional way. The junior suite at the second level is indeed a ‘suite’ and stylish furnished. Good working WiFi and air-conditioning and a well filled mini bar. The restaurant is excellent and no need to go elsewhere and during our three night’s stay we very much enjoyed dinner on the terrace with the overhanging tree branches up till the late hours. The breakfast is delightful, serving anyone’s wishes. Management gave us some excellent travel tips and can highly recommend a boat trip along the coast with four secluded beaches which only can be reached by boat. Also, a short trip by car to Pedra Longa with steep rock mountaineering activity is worthwhile. Can highly recommend this hotel and more relaxing than the busy other coastal hotels. Like to thank the team again for a very pleasant stay.

Toured round the island and first stop was Nascar. What a welcome. Room upgrade to tasteful suite. Booked a boat trip and missed the deadline for beach pick up so one of the owners drove us (speedily!) to the Marina in time for our day out. The restaurant was very good. On the terrace in October. Good wines and great pasta. People came from outside the hotel to eat there so thats a recommendation in itself. The village was filling up for the SuperMonte marathon event and the previous winner was staying at the Nascar of course. Lots of selfies being requested. Poor chap. I could imagine in poorer weather (we were so lucky) the inside bar would would be a haven Beautifully decorated with books and comfortable sofas. There is a bit of town noise; not unexpected. Loved it..top pick of the four hotels we stayed in on our trip.

Fabulous staff. Due to a bit of a cock up from our travel agent, they hadnt realised we were on honeymoon, once they discovered they could not do more for us on our honeymoon. Our plane was delayed and the travel agent sent us to the wrong airport so we were over 4 hours late for check in. 1am in the morning and there they were with food and drink as a welcome. Fabulous. I keep trying to rebook but they are always full! Brilliant.

If you’re in the area I recommend you stay here. The staff are lovely and extremely welcoming and friendly. You feel like they really care about your holiday and enjoying yourself. The rooms are simple but clean, large and have a lovely rustic feel. The local honey as a gift is a great touch and we also liked that they use natural products in the bathroom. Breakfast was the best we had I. Sardinia with fresh eggs cooked on request and lots of continental options. We spent 2 nights here and were sad to leave. Thank you for looking after us.
