The environment is clean and well-kept and exudes a welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel at home. The cuisine is simply delicious, at breakfast there is a rich buffet, while at dinner each meal is an adventure of flavors that reflect the chef's passion. Some of the dining room staff (in particular the ungroomed-looking adult waitress) did not meet the standards of a 4-star superior. I would like to make a note of thanks to the smiling waitress at breakfast with long hair, who is very kind and professional. It is definitely a hotel that I highly recommend.

Spacious rooms, equipped with a nice balcony with deckchairs. Comfortable beds, impeccable cleanliness.
Cuisine with delicacies for every palate, even the most demanding.
On the day of mid-August they organized an aperitif on the terrace with excellent appetizers and wines; not to mention the exquisite dinner with buffets of all kinds and first, second and desserts served at the table.
Free possibilities of excursions on site.
The two swimming pools both the indoor and outdoor are really beautiful super cured... with the possibility of whirlpool.
The staff of both the reception and the room always kind and considerate, as well as the efficiency of the room cleaners.
Super recommended!!!
I hope to return very soon!

We always feel very comfortable there!

We will be back soon because we really enjoyed our stay. A round of applause for Mr Canova's typical Italian friendliness 👏👏👏

--The location was perfect with wonderful views, and it's only a stroll to the chair lift which you can use to reach a higher altitude for the start of many good walks.
-- Rooms: nicely furnished with balcony. Was rather envious of the bathroom tiles.
-- Amazing laundry service: handed in a bag of laundry in the early evening and it was back by breakfast time. The cost was very reasonable too, as it was priced not per item but per bag.
-- Spa: lovely, lovely, lovely. The two pools are a decent size so you can do laps if you wish. The outdoor one is reached via an underground tunnel - you then get into the water inside, press a button, and glass doors open with a whoosh to let you out.
-- Food: We were on half-board so were presented with a menu every morning for pre-ordering. Generally very good, with great buffet for starters. The breakfast buffet was a veritable *feast*, with a large selection of prepared fresh fruit, and a juicing machine. There was also a cute butter dispensing machine!
-- Staff: formal but friendly.
After all that praise why is it not perfect? The floor around the fruit section of the buffet was rather sticky, and as mentioned by another reviewer, there *were* flies, though I only saw one or two around the bread.

Location: the hotel is ideally located in Saltria, in the natural park of Alpe di Siusi (Dolomites, UNESCO world heritage). Traffic is regulated, so either the local bus or hiking are your only options between 9 am and 5 pm. The Floralpina is one of the starting points of the many hiking trails that snake around this gorgeous natural park. If you are looking for a quiet place, this is a perfect location. If you’d rather be close to a small convenience store and sport/rental shops, then prefer Compatsch. We did not use our car once during our stay and much appreciated it. There is a covered garage.
The rooms: We booked two rooms, but although we were told they would be close to each other, they were not. This only presented a minor inconvenience to us as our children are older, but it would certainly not have made us happy a few years ago. Our room, Molignon 104, and our children’s room, Stella Relax 210, both offered great views and a nice flowered balcony. The bathrooms were modern and spacious. As a couple, we found our bedroom one of the nicest we ever stayed at: comfortable, tastefully decorated and very spacious, with plenty of storage, a rainshower with blue lights, a nice sitting area, separate toilets, an infrared cabin for two and a fine sink area. Our room was honestly the best part of our stay. The shower is not separate from the bedroom, so if you do not want your partner to see you while showering, prefer a different room. Our children also enjoyed their bedroom, although it looked more functional and did not have the nice finishing touches ours had. Please be advised that not all rooms were renovated like ours.
Indoor facilities: the hotel boasts an indoor pool and jacuzzi that we used only once. The pool has no windows giving onto the outside, so we did not enjoy it much. The spa area is nice and relaxing, but not open to children. We had a meal plan that included breakfast and dinner; the 5-course dinner was often unappetizing, as was the cold starters buffet; breakfast was fine. If you enjoy fine cuisine, then you are bound to be disappointed. If you are half-board, you will be pressed to choose your courses during breakfast for the evening.
Outdoor facilities: you will find a nice outdoor deck with a dinning area and a lounge area with lounge chairs. Since it is directly on the roads borrowed by hikers, you will not want to bathe in your bathing suit there, but it is great for lunch, drinks, or to read a good book. The swimming pool across the street is rather shaded and offers a few swing sets for the young ones, but it seems to come as an afterthought and did not seem very inviting to us. There is also a tennis court up the road but it seems to have long been forgotten.
Staff: generally speaking, the staff was courteous, but not overly friendly. The senior receptionist never greeted us on our way back, which we thought unprofessional, and the manager, who kept her dog on the balcony beside ours, had trouble understanding its barking in the morning and the evening could have been a nuisance to us. Luckily, a few staff made up for this lack of warmth, notably Christoph at the front desk and a few waitresses.
The pros: the rooms (recently renovated), the location, the covered garage, the view, the cleanliness
The cons: the overall atmosphere, the food, few outdoor areas to lounge, the staff sometimes too busy to take our breakfast orders. We never felt anyone went beyond their call of duty but did what was strictly required of them.
Would we go back? Probably not. Our feeling is that they did not seem to need our business so it was quite an impersonal stay.
