Loved it. Total luxury and pampering. Excellent staff and food. Location could not be more picturesque. Bartenders true craftsman. Spa services excellent. This location is a great spot for hiking and I expect for skiing. Can't wait to go back!

I can't say enough good things about this Hotel, and I am a very experienced and picky traveler.
My wife and I spent 3 days here in mid-September, enjoying the hiking, the food and the spa. The design of the hotel is stunning: modern and sleek; tastefully done, with very large rooms and bathrooms and terraces. The setting, with views of the mountains, is breathtaking.
The food is delicious and beautifully presented, and if you select the option to do dinner at 30 Euro supplement per person, you are in for a treat. Try to get Maria and Stani and Johannes as your servers. All 3 were so gracious and charming, and help make the meals even more pleasant.
The spa area is worth spending time in after hikes. The Indoor/Outdoor pool is immaculate and beautiful and there is a good workout room, too.
You can start your hikes directly from the hotel, and there is a hiking concierge who will walk you through your options, or you can hike with him, I think...but we did not.
A big shout-out to Philip at the Front Desk. He was very helpful throughout our entire stay. Hard to find such gracious service at other hotels. This one does it right.
We can't wait to return next year!

Stunning location on Alpe di Siusi. All the rooms have great views of the Dolomites and have balconies or terraces. There are innumerable hiking/biking trails accessible from the hotel. The half board is very reasonably priced and excellent. The staff is very welcoming and helpful, and they have organized activities if one is interested. The spa and pool are very nice. It appears that skiing would be also very convenient from this location as there are several lifts close by (a couple operate in the summer).

Alpina Dolomites is at the best possible location for enjoying lovely walks in a breathtaking scenery. The long indoor pool is perfect for swimming or you can relax and catch some sun in the outdoor pool. The gym is fully equipped with all you need. The staff in the restaurant and bar are all friendly, positive and professional. Our chalet was perfect with a spacious outdoor space. One of the main reasons why we would be happy to return is Veronica at the kids club. She is kind, attentive and ambitious. Our daughter that usually prefers not going to kids clubs went every day for two weeks and had an amazing time!

Thank you to all the staff! You were all wonderful.

My adult daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Staff was very helpful, views from our balconies were lovely and our rooms (superior) very spacious, well appointed and comfortable. The only problem we encountered was with the lack of air conditioning. Even though the highs were only in the 70s, it was hard to cool the rooms down at night without leaving the drapes open, which of course allows sunlight in early in the morning. Fans are not generally available, but we were provided with one, which helped some.
We liked the isolated location, and walked to nearby lifts to start three hikes to areas higher up in the surrounding mountains. For other hikes, you'd have to drive elsewhere.
The half board was an excellent value for the delicious food. There's also another restaurant right next to the hotel that has very good food and is reasonably priced.

My family of five traveled to the Dolomites in July 2021. After much research, we settled on Alpina Dolomites and am so glad we did. The resort is in the most beautiful setting that you can ever imagine. From the cows behind the resort, to the mountains surrounding you, everywhere you look is breathtaking. I have traveled to many locations in the Alps, but there is no place that is as beautiful as this. The rooms at the resort are very spacious and nicely decorated with large balconies. The pool area and included spa areas are fabulous. We enjoyed morning hikes and afternoons in the pool and spa. Staff were all very professional and focused on service The hotel has a amazing outside space with plenty of comfortable seating to enjoy your surroundings. This is definitely a five star resort in the most spectacular setting you can imagine. Restaurants were delicious and the breakfast buffet offered everything you would possibly want. The resort was able to administer Covid testing whch was needed for our flight back to the US. We cannot wait to return!

We loved this beautiful area and the hotel. We traveled as a family with our young adult daughters and were blown away by the scenery: striking mountains, alpine meadows, rural rolling farmland, cowbells here and there... We hadn't ever been to the Dolomites and didn't really know much but we're so glad we gave it try. Basically, we hiked, saw spectacular scenery, massages at the hotel spa, one daughter paraglided, and we ate and played cards in the hotel bar/lobby at night. They have lots of seating areas and each one had a family or a couple playing cards or games or chatting with a pot of tea or playing chess. There were all ages from little kids to grandparents and it was fantastic. The hotel is lovely and comfortable, not fancy or cutting edge, but simple and refined and suitable in this setting for luxury travelers. Our basic level rooms were spacious, modern and clean. The two things I'd change (but wouldn't let them stop me from a visit to this fantastic place!) is to change the glass bathroom doors. Not everyone enjoys taking a shower knowing that they can't have privacy from whomever they may be sharing with. I never even thought to ask and didn't notice until the middle of the night, but the rooms are not air conditioned. I suspect that's typical for the area which was cool in the evening in August but it was hot for sleeping because there just wasn't a breeze even with the terrace door open. Providing fans for guests to put in front of an open terrace would likely help. I thought the concierges were helpful with choosing hikes but think they could do this a little better. We've been to a few Exploras and Tierras in South American which remind me of this hotel in ways and they have a great system for helping guests choose and organize each day's adventure. Here you don't need guides for everything but more info to understand options and timing and level of difficulty would have helped. Anyway, we loved this part of our trip the most and will consider exploring there again. I will surely recommend Alpina Dolomites to friends. We loved it.

This was the second stop on a 9-week road trip around various European countries.Out of the 17 accommodations we stayed in during this trip, the Alpina Dolomites takes the #1 spot in terms of overall quality, customer service, food, and comfort. This place met every need and then some. For example, we had to return our car to Munich (a 4 hour one-way drive) to exchange for another car. Mary, at the front desk, made the calls we couldn't make because we do not speak German. She obtained the information we needed to make the exchange easy. But there's more! We had to miss breakfast so she called the kitchen to have them make up a very large bag of food for us to take for our journey. It made a huge difference for us. We were stressed but the staff went out of their way to calm our nerves and make our day easier. Here's another example, after we left, I lost an item I had bought in the village I did not know the name of the store so I could replace it. I emailed Alpina Dolomites and asked if they knew the store. The young man at the front desk quickly determined the store name and sent me the phone number. He didn't have to do this. We were no longer guests. But he did and I was very grateful for his help.

One of our favorite things to do there, besides hike, was to lounge in the sunny bar/lounge area. Every day drinks and munchies are offered and, on a sunny day and after a long hike, it is really nice to relax and enjoy the view and the food. It has already been mentioned that the food is magnificent. Let me reaffirm that the food is really good, especially the soups. For hiking, they have an experienced guid who is available to answer questions. He provided excellent assistance for us. I cannot rave enough about this place. Every need was met with a smile and great kindness. It is truly a special place and I cannot wait to return. Do not hesitate to book. You will not regret it.

My husband and I visited the Alpina Dolomites in September ‘23 and saying it’s a wonderful experience sells it short. The view is stunning from the moment you drive up to the moment you leave. The staff are very patient and helpful and more than willing to go out of their way to make you stay everything you want it to be. The rooms are clean and beautifully designed, as is the rest of the resort.

The breakfast buffet was expansive and delicious. For lunch, get the pinsa, you won’t regret it.

Hiking is easily accessible as you’re right at the center of the plateau and there are plenty of cable cars to get you to the more challenging hikes if that’s your style.

Overal it was a fabulous time and we’re already talking about when we’ll be heading back (we just left 2 days ago!)

This was our 3rd time at Alpina Dolomites and the hospitality, service levels, attention to detail and our needs, quality of breakfast and dinner was consistently superb. Memorable are always the views from our room, location for beautiful hikes and the late afternoon reward of apple strudel and Prosecco on the deck on return. We will be back!

How is the drive up to the hotel? Is it an easy drive?
Answer from RussellRusty

The drive up is very long, somewhat narrow, and windy with some hairpin turns. It is not scary other than when you get a local on your but who wants to go faster than you yourself should. You just need to take your time and try to drive it during daylight hours.

Good afternoon, Yes there are buses from Bozen to Alpe di SIusi, then from there you take a cable lift (same sables for skiing) and wyou will arrive directly at the hotel. Or you could also arrange transportation with the hotel!!
