This hotel and destination became the highlight of our Switzerland trip. This property has a great advantage of being bang on the lake. Its an heritage hotel with an history of over 120 years still its well maintained. The food is decent but the experience of restaurant is delightful as its by lake. Rooms are not very big but comfortable....

Spent four days in this lakeside small, family -run hotel. (Note; We used Bookings and you must be very careful reading all info about the cancellation policies for each hotel.) This hotel was not hard to find, just outside of Interlaken (do NOT stay there...very congested). Narrow road down to the hotel which lies along Lake Brienz, colorfully turquoise, complete...

We spent two nights at this hotel. What a location.... sheer paradise. Right on the lake with a view of the mountains in the back. We paid approx 260 swiss francs per night for a double room, bathroom with shower and a small balcony. The room was of decent size, the bathroom acceptable and everything in working condition. The staff...

The hotel is situated at the end of a local road with its gardens leading to the waters of Lake Brienz. Consequently the hotel is fairly tranquil with lake and mountain views abounding. Local ferry boats call at its landing stage, the local bus and trains are all within walking distance and can be used free within the Interlaken district...

Nice to have breakfast with a beautiful view of the lake. Take bus 102 from Interlaken Ost stop Ringgenburg Post. Hotel also has a private ferry stop. Free wi-fi. We had a very small room but were not there much. Other rooms had nice views of the lake. The bathroom IS the shower. No frills but great views.

A very good family run hotel with the best views of all the places we stayed in switzerland. The breakfast was not great but just fine. The hotel is a bit far from city and buses and boats are avaliable nearby within every 20 mins. views so wonderful that you will forget everything else.

If you are looking for a Hilton or Marriott, this isn't the place. But if you are looking for a clean, nice, quiet hotel that is set in the most beautiful location on earth, then this is the place for you. The price is good, and the management is friendly.

I wrote reviews on several websites for this hotel - having revisited this site, I find that my review has disappeared apart from the first sentence! Perhaps my connection cut out. Several months later, I still think about Hotel Seeburg and what a lovely stay I had there, which in itself says much about the place. The poor reviews may...

This was my first visit to Switzerland and I must admit that I have fallen in love with its' beauty and its' people. Our single night stay in the Hotel Seeburg was comfortable and hospitable. The owner & family were very accomodating, friendly and warm. Having traveled throughout Europe, the rooms were more than comfortable with a firm double bed,...
