The rooms are clean The beds are clean and well appointed An absolute must for me in a B&B is a private bathroom which every room has. The shower was excellent the towels...

This was our second visit to this lovely historic house and B & B, and based on our first visit a few years ago, we were confident of another comfortable stay and booked in for twelve nights. It was like returning to visit friends and everything was as we remembered. Our hosts, Martin and Myles, were very welcoming every time...

My husband and I stayed for two nights in August. The Inn is a beautiful old home that has been tastefully restored and decorated by the hosts. Our room was on the main floor, just off the vestibule. We were concerned that it might be noisy, but it was quite the opposite. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was very...

Beautifully restored inn. Our room was spacious with all amenities. The host (Martin?) was extremely pleasant and helpful. There's a lovely lawn with a nice view of the river. Breakfast was amazing. The table was beautifully set. We started with fresh fruit and yogurt. Then eggs benedict perfectly prepared. It was a perfect chance to visit with other lodgers. Would...

Excellent location. Economical. Friendly hosts. The grounds are not quite as spectacular as the pictures online...a little neglected. Peaceful night's rest, but I'd bring my own pillow next time. Lots of hot water. Lovely spot in the morning, got outside to do some yoga. Was just perfect. Close to all the beaches we wanted to take in.

Hello cizzler2016 - We appreciate your kind review. As you mentioned our grounds are not as beautiful this season due to health issues on the part of the owner that deals with the gardens, etc. Regarding the pillows. We thank you for the heads up and are pleased to inform you that the pillows in this room have been replaced....

Morton House Inn is in a lovely setting but the hosts are far from hospitable. First, I was told that my standard room was in a motel behind the Inn. There is no mention of that on the Hotels.com site so beware! Second, I was told that people in the motel were not entitled to breakfast. When I was able...

Hello Taliesgrandma -- We do thank you for your feedback but we are, frankly, distressed by your impression of our Bed and Breakfast. It is, honestly, hurtful to be referred to as inhospitable as we make every effort to provide our guests with a friendly welcome and very hospitable service. Even though you booked one of our motel units, we...

Our first B&B experience was fantastic! From the warm welcome, to the complimentary room upgrade to the tasty breakfasts with wonderful fellow guests! The owners, house and grounds are truly lovely and it provides an excellent home base for exploring the shores of Nova Scotia. Will definitely recommend to others.
