Inge Marie is an authority, she indicates you the order to eat your breakfast. You feel intimated....the rooms are decorated with love, full of details, bath robes, fridge, very quiet, the ocean in 700 meters. Great garden. Only two rooms for guests, so very personal. Try it.

We can highly recommend this B&B, which is placed close to Faaborg. The host is VERY nice and makes a great breakfast. The rooms are very charming, clean and have a nice view to the sea. Maziar & Sara

My wife and I stayed here for several nights at the beginning of June and used it as a base for sightseeing in Faaborg and beyond. I can only echo what many reviewers have said. Inge Marie is an excellent hostess and went out of her way to be helpful. She is also a first-rate cook so the breakfast offerings... More

Last weekend we were supposed to stay at Falsled Kro, but due to a mistake, made by our self’s, we had no rooms reserved, We looked around for an alternative, and found Den Sorte Cottage An absolutely fantastic place, charming rooms, wonderful ambience, the most delicious breakfast in the morning in the main house, made by the owner Inge Marie,... My husband, my 5 year old son and I stayed here for 3 nights in total at the beginning of July. Inge was a super host. We felt very much at home. My son thought 'she was nice'. Breakfasts were delicious and hearty. Our room was tastefully decorated and clean and my son enjoyed sleeping in the top bunk. There... More

We came here with our two daughters (ages 5 and 7) and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, even if we did sometimes worry that we'd overly dirty the pristine white furnishings. Breakfast was simple and delicious in Inge-Marie's kitchen. She was very engaging and clearly enjoys children. We went for some lovely walks around the property (although we occasionally feared we'd lost... More

Our stay at Den Sorte Cottage was exactly what we needed! We were looking for a place to get away and just relax and we found the perfect spot in Faborg at Den Sorte! The website of the cottage describes it as a cottage with sheep which is what it is. We loved the privacy of the room away from... More
