Juvet is nothing short of spectacular. We stayed here for two nights (minimum recommended) in one of the landscape rooms and were absolutely blown away by the stunning views and incredible architecture of the buildings. We arrived late in the evening, we were immediately greeted and invited to dinner by Eric (the hotel chef) who was incredibly hospitable and very...

...the problem is within you and not the place and the staff. It is one of the most spectacular landscape hotels in the world. Actually this is Europes first Landscape Hotel. Situated in the scenic and remote Valldal valley in Sunnmøre in northwestern Norway the hotels invites the guests to a close and personal encounter with nature. All of the...

My wife and I stayed there for two nights during a holiday trip in Norway. It was the perfect setting for me to switch off from my hectic work schedule. The stunning landscape offered so much peacefulness and tranquility. It was more like a luxurious B&B getaway cabin, rather than a hotel. Expensive but it was worthwhile. Our room had...

My husband and I stayed here for two nights in June. The landscape and the location of the property are stunning. The main lodge is similarly beautiful. We had dinner there both nights family-style with the other guests. Dinner is expensive, but similar in cost to other hotels we were at and it was delicious and beautifully presented. The only...

"A meeting between raw Norwegian nature, cultural history and modern architecture." A quote from the website which sums it up perfectly. The Juvet Hotel offers a stunning backdrop of the Norwegian landscape whilst feeling truly at peace with nature in your own minimal cabin. It was such a magical experience in the wilderness. We stayed 2 nights (which I would...

We stayed here one night only which was too short. You really need two nights to appreciate the area and this special place. Booking was very easy. First impression was that this place was laid back , cabin super clean , architecture unique , view from our room unforgettable . You really need not worry about privacy . Dinner very...

The scenery is gorgeous and the staff is exceptional. They went over and above to provide service even when plans changed. We did a large production on the hotel and the staff provided excellent understanding so we could work and get the job done. Highly recommend this place to both buisness and tourists. Food was exceptional good with local products,...

The review from ‘MichaelInSF Sept 7, 2011’ was most accurate following our experience at Juvet. We arrived with some knowledge of the place, the layout and the facilities on offer. There were no surprises that this was not a luxurious retreat in the wilderness and that instead the main road would be very close by. We had a rocky start...

A magnificent place to spend some time in Norway. The architecture and design of the rooms and main house are splendid in such a setting. Sleeping over a river whilst listening to it at night was incredible. The beds are so comfortable and the food superb. Breakfast was a feast of Norway specialties and dinner each night..all together with other...

If you are looking to escape the city and the stresses of life this is your place. First, the staff are incredible. I don't recall ever being on a first name basis with the owner, head chef and staff. If you book a room say hello to Knut, Nina and Chris for us. They are incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about...
