The Manor House is an annex of the Red Lion pub which sits by the bridge over the river. The location is beautiful as was the rooms. Although our room was not massive - our TV was only about 10 inches (which was so cute) but suited the room size. Very clean and very well decorated. The best part of...

After long walk around Grassington with friends and dog, called in at the Red Lion for refreshments, knowing that it was a dog friendly pub we went inside, however it was very busy so went to sit outside in the dark waiting for drinks, inspite of being very busy they opened up a room to accommodate 3 friends and Giant...

Burnsall is a fantastic destination in the Dales. No availability in the Red Lion hotel itself, so can't comment about the accommodation there. We stayed in the associated Manor House. All was clean and sort of comfortable, ensuite was compact as described, but the room was quite tired. Nothing to sit on apart from the bed and a fouton seat....

We stayed here for the night following a friends wedding. It is part of the Red Lion and is only a short walk away. Our room was on the first floor and was a good size. The decor is different to the norm but it fits in with the character of the building. We slept well, but after an afternoon...

We really enjoyed our one nights stay in The Manor House, comfy bed and linens, very clean, we knew the ensuite was going to be "compact" so it did not pose a problem for us, I think we did exceptionally well paying £80 for B&B in a beautiful part of the world where the staff were courteous and endeavoured to...

As the title says! Throw in a really tatty communal area in The Manor House, the constant smell of dead cats and breakfast that finishes on the dot of 9.45 with absolutely no exception all for £100, you're left wishing you'd not bothered, I suggest you do the same.

No places at the red lion pub but twin rooms available for myself and 3 friends at the manor house, which is run by the pub Room was very clean, furniture dated but I suppose didn't look out of place with the age of the building. Tea/coffee kettle in the room, and you could get a small jug of fresh...

I stayed in a small double room on the first floor of the Manor House (Room 34?). The room was small but clean and comfortable. However, the en suite shower room was the narrowest I've ever seen with an inconveniently placed shelf right above the loo that I kept bumping into when standing up. It had no natural light/ventilation and...

“The Manor is a little walk from The Red Lion, read the info re rooms as the ensuite is "compact". If in the Manor we suggest you don't get a ground floor room if you don't have any ear plugs ( just in case those above your room get noisy ).”
