Great family holiday over Easter for all our children and grandchildren. Four generations for a delicious formal Easter Sunday lunch. Excellent location, friendly staff, first class service. Our families have known this hotel for many years and it never disappoints.

We stayed for two nights and it was an ideal base from which to explore the area but also a lovely place to come back to, to relax. We ate in the bar twice and the barman was very friendly and the food very good. The breakfasts and coffee shop were also very good. There's a bus stop outside the...

Good Yorkshire beer! We had a selection of starters rather than a main meal. Wonderful! (They were even happy to turn the television over to the rugby for us!) The car park was a little small but there is parking along the road and plenty of space inside. Food served all day, a rarity in Yorkshire pubs. Definitely will return.
