After many visits here for meals, we decided to have our wedding in this fantastic hotel, really can't praise the staff here enough for making it the best day of our life's! The food was excellent! With lots of excellent feed back from our guests about how good the food is, we stayed in the hotel the room was outstanding!...

Mallyon Spout is a family run business in Goathland that we book when we need to get away from it all. Fabulous walks and also on the edge of the North york moors national park. I would recommend booking well in advance as it is a busy hotel at peak times, and they also have weddings throughout the summer. The...

Another visit to eat in Hunters bar. The specials board had some wonderful meals, decided on Harrogate blue cheese twice baked soufflé. It was so delicious! I had the pork belly, partner had the ham egg and chips. He is quite a coniceur of ham egg and chips and he rated the mallyan spout as being right up there! But...

Stayed here for 2 nights midweek, a stunning place. We have been to Goathland many times and eaten here before but always wanted to stay, so I treated my husband for his birthday. We stayed in a standard double room. The room and ensuite were very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The grounds are beautiful, so well maintained....

stayed at this hotel for 4 nights, we stayed in The Church View room, couldn't have asked for anymore. We ate in the restaurant each evening, the staff were extremely helpful and the food was exceptional. Colin in the bar was really friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel for a relaxing and peaceful stay in the Yorkshire moors....

My husband and I spent a week in the camping coach at Goathland Station. The hotel is a 15 min. walk away, so we decided to have dinner here. Everything was perfect. We hadn't booked and it was busy, but when I asked if we could eat in the dining room instead of the crowded bars, we were quickly given...

I have stayed many times at the Mallyan and each and every time it is so good that I can not wait to come back. This time we stayed with a larger than normal group. Nothing was to much trouble, reserving side rooms for us to ensure we could all sit together, rearranging the dining room so we could all...

Had a weekend break and just wanted somewhere quiet, comfortable and yet within striking distance of the coast. Mallyan Spout was a perfect choice for us, excellent service, lovely food and a very comfortable bar/lounge area. Our bedroom was spacious and comfortable with a nice view over the gardens (number 19). No lift so you need to be good on...

After a pleasant stroll round Goathland and a mooch in the gift shops, my wife and I called in at the Mallyan Spout for our lunch. The hotel is set in beautiful gardens and surroundings and indeed some guests were taking advantage of this to enjoy their lunch al fresco! We headed for the bar which was relatively quiet, however...
