Attended a wedding near by and were able to access room prior to wedding to freshen up and enjoyed a spot of lunch here too. Room was really nice as was the bathroom, breakfast was excellent, plenty of it.

I would not recommend staying here to anyone. We had a table booked for 6 of us at 7:30 and waited over an hour between courses. When the 3 steaks arrived, they were very under cooked and not comes to the persons request. When we asked for the steaks to be cooked properly we were met with a very rude...

In response to your review of your 2 nights with us at the Plough, may I first of all say that after speaking to yourselves on the Saturday night during service and again on the Sunday and Monday mornings and offering our full apologies for the meal, I thought that the issue had been rectified to your satisfaction. With yourselves...

The Inn has a very good ambience , this feeling of wellbeing is carried on by the staff who are polite and considerate. I would recommend this Inn to anybody wanting to sample the English countryside at its best.

After attending a wedding reception last year at this delightfully quaint country inn, staying overnight and enjoying a fabulous breakfast, we decided to make the hour's trip and return on Easter Sunday afternoon to attend the Easter Weekend Beer Festival. We were so looking forward to it, but were left feeling pretty disgruntled to say the least. I'd checked the...

Hi Ginny61, we are really sorry that your experience with us over the beer festival , did not match the one you had when attending a wedding here, but they are two very different occasions as you will know seeing how very busy we were on Sunday. To get on to the issues raised, the beer fest menu is just...

Woo Hoo! What a brilliant evening. Might seem a bit odd that as non beer drinker I'm writing a review for the Plough's Beer Fest . . . . . .but it was so good! As well as a shed load of beer they had 12 different ciders . . . . can't remember what it was called but one...

Lovely and welcoming staff upon arrival, our room was very nice, clean and warm. Bathroom could do with an update and shower pressure was a bit on the lower side but functioned well enough. Good selection of tea, coffee etc. in the room. Our dinner was great, good portion size and really great chips! Breakfast was even better!! The 'full monty'...

Very recently visited the Plough for our Sunday lunch. It was dreadful!! Roast pork was tasteless, roast potatoes awful, roasted vegetables very hard and all tasted the same, of nothing. Yorkshire pudding hard as a rock and the gravy did nothing to improve the lunch. The service also was not up to the usual standard. We won't be going back...

I am very disappointed to read your review and can't believe that we got it so wrong, since introducing the roasted veg it has been received very well and Sunday's have been a busy successful session for us. As I am not sure what Time you dined with us I can not comment on how busy we were and weather...

This was the worst dining experience ive had for a long time, the service was slow, and the food was not what I had expected , when it turned up ! , two gammons and a steak and no serrated knife supplied ,it was like cutting through a piece of leather. the chips were dry and had no taste, i...

Lovely pub, friendly, straight forward. Booked in no fuss & made a reservation for dinner. Gorgeous food and well priced. The room was nothing fancy & the bathroom was about 1 metre deep &. 3 long so bijou to say the least but the shower was hot & powerful! Only 30 mins from cambridge where we spent the day, made...

Visited with my husband and mother-in-law on a Saturday at about 3pm. We ordered from the lunchtime menu that runs until 6pm on a Saturday and then the evening menu kicks in, there were also specials available. My husband and I had the burgers. These came in a bun with bacon, cheese & 3 homemade onion rings and were served...
