We just had a weekend at The Gate House - one of Cheviot Holiday Cottages. Wow! This cottage really sets the standard of what is possible in a holiday rental. It is absolutely beautiful inside - incredibly stylish and a real home from home - nothing has been skimped here with a wealth of quality features, fixtures and fittings. The... More

As self catering accommodation " The Retreat" has the wow factor. We recently returned from a 4 night stay ( not long enough) and so far have not stopped talking about it. There was just nothing lacking, fresh flowers, fresh fruit , lovely soup and homemade bread met us on arrival. The Retreat is furnished and equipped to the highest... More

This holiday property is simply spectacular and is certainly the best cottage in which we have ever stayed. Starting with the delicious aroma of home-made soup and freshly baked bread when we walked in, not to mention the excellent beef casserole simmering gently for our evening meal. Touring round the house just got better and better! The swim spa is... More

Have been a guest at Cheviot Holiday Cottages in Ingram for the last 3 years. Superb accommodation. Comfiest bed I have ever slept in. Graham and his wife are the perfect hosts - there if you need anything but leave you to enjoy your holiday if not. Cottages are located within the Breamish Valley and it is a walker's paradise.... Wow, this is truly stunning from the location to the beautiful cottage we stayed in. Honeysuckle is out of this world... Beautiful flowers, and after a 6 hour drive Trysha's home cooked meal was so appreciated. Very tasty & worth every penny.
