We booked the White Swan to stay overnight with a friend of ours, and though the pub itself is in need of a little TLC (which is being done in the next few weeks), the rooms were comfortable and clean with great bathrooms and comfortable beds. The only downside was that the pub had a live band on the night...

Stayed at the White Swan while visiting Market Raisen with my friends. We were made welcome straight away as we arrived to check in. After been shown to our rooms we decided to sample the beers and spirits on offer in the bar. A good selection of drinks were on sale, after a couple of drinks we ventured out into...

A lovely little B & B Downstairs is a bar, lots of great choices of alcohol and the locals and bar staff are a great laugh. The rooms upstairs are really nice, comfortable beds and great en suites. The breakfast in the morning was also great. I 10/10 would recommend

We stayed at the White Swan for the August bank holiday weekend, and picked it because it was within easy reach of Cadwell Park for the British Superbikes on that weekend, and had parking too. What a cracking find! On arrival the lovely lass behind the bar had a friendly greeting and lots of info about our room, breakfast and...

My wife and I stayed here for three nights last week and had a very enjoyable stay, our room was comfortable even though it was a bit on the small side, but it was the only one available and having had a chance to look into other rooms when they were being serviced, we would say that ours was the...

Where do I start?! Soo much to say about this place, I love it! Not my first visit, but it gets better each time my partner and I come up from Bristol to visit relatives. Ignore the 'terrible' reviews on here, a case of sour grapes from an ex-employer trying to ruin the Swans reputation. Firstly, the staff - I...

Stayed here for the racing weekend last week, the hotel is well situated for the races just about a mile straight down the road. Stayed in room 4 plenty of space and comfortable bed and decent shower room. Breakfast was ok but I,'ve never had to order what I wanted the night before! The bar downstairs is really in need of...

Popped in for an early evening drink passing through one Saturday about s month ago. Tired looking from the outside and even more so inside. Looks run down and dirty. Definitely wouldn't have wanted to bring my children there as a family pub. It may be buzzing with a great atmosphere later, but I'm afraid we couldn't wait to leave.
