Great night , the Shurland staff did very well dealing with 23 strong party. No complaints about the food and good value for money ! Great thanks to the hard working staff , but a huge thank you to the chef who was on his own due to staff shortages. The chef still managed to get everyone's food out on...

We stay in Diamond room don't know why it was called that. There was no hair dryer in the room, mirror was just placed near tea and coffee tray which fell down back and broke on first night,. We told the hotel but after 5 nights there was still nothing done about it. They did put a picture in place of...

In desperate need of a refurb! The mattress was a very old spring mattress which left me with a terrible back the next morning. The bathrooms are just shocking. Hospital bathrooms are newer and cleaner. The decor is from the 80's I question if it's been changed since I was born (29 years ago) The bedrooms are locked with a...

Was a friendly hotel, but our stay there was in the middle of all their refurbishments (in some areas you could see that the hotel needed a bit of TLC in places). They did offer to let us find alternative accommodation if we weren't happy, but we didn't, our room was fine, and the staff were very nice. The hotel...

The staff here are friendly and helpful, they upgraded my room as soon as I arrived, with no extra cost. The breakfast was excellent,...

Only used for a short stay as we were visiting Family on the islanday. Staff helpful, the room was okay albeit a bit tired and the bathroom was a tight fit. We are going again but this time we are booking a bigger room. .

The only criticism of this hotel, is that the shower was cold in the morning. However a lovely nights sleep and an excellent breakfast. The cold shower problem will no doubt be resolved as the Hotel was undergoing refurbishment. Will stay again

I booked a weekend away for our wedding anniversary for September as we had been there before and enjoyed it. When we arrived they informed us the spa facilities were closed as was the pub and restaurant. Had we known about this beforehand we would have gone elsewhere. And if we didn't have a car it would of cost us...
