Whilst on holiday nearby with our grandchildren, 6 and 2, we enjoyed 3 meals here. There is a big garden with play area and the food was excellent. Usually there are places we would eat with children but would not necessarily go on our own. Here the food and service were so good we would certainly be regulars if we...

Lovely pub with good beer and very well appointed rooms, clean and with all the facilities you would expect. Breakfast excellent but dinner very poor indeed. Not sure whether some of the dishes were too adventurous for the chef but the seafood (crab) was not fresh and the puddings mainly bought in. We fed our disappointment back via our excellent...

Please consider staying at the New Flying Horse instead of the regular pre-tunnel haunts! You will enjoy the very best of British hospitality, great food, real ale and a hearty breakfast before you head out into post Brexit Europe... Perfect in every way! Happy holidays! Andrew

We wanted somewhere comfortable and quiet to stay for our grandson's wedding. The room was comfy but very "COSY" in other words small. It was a disabled room and had a great wet room, but it would have been impossible to get an electric wheelchair to the room never mind in it. The soundproofing was non existant so could hear...

Friendly staff , very nice and clean room . Highly recommend to stay. If we ever in the area we will go there again. Lovely place all together and you can see that owner take good care of it. Didn't have a chance to use the bar but will do it next time

Lovely old pub with very friendly helpful staff. We had room one which was in the main part of the pub and was very spacious, clean and nice. Lovely toiletries and coffee/tea make big facilities with shortbread biscuits. Friendly staff and lovely restaurant with very tasty food and very good menu also excellent breakfast choice. Recommended for old world atmosphere.

I stayed here overnight on business. The place is old and charming selling local ales. My check in was easy and quick. The rooms were delightful and nicely furnished. I had a great nights sleep in this quiet village location. Food was very nice and breakfast lovely. I would recommend this place for an overnight and a drink and food...

Stayed in room 5 with my other half. What a lovely room it is! Huge and extremely comfortable bed (best night's sleep we have had away from home in a very long time), big bathroom with good shower and his and hers sinks, exposed beams (mind your head on the way in) and a snug area by a large chimney...

We stayed here for a weekend away in Kent and the room and Inn were really lovely. The room was possibly one of the nicest hotel rooms I think I've stayed in. It was spacious, clean, cosy and so comfortable. We ate dinner at The New Flying Horse Inn's own restaurant and the food was fantastic. Breakfast was also delicious...

The room we were given was very small but we saw that there were others that were considerably larger. It was done to a good modern standard and clean but the walls were wafer thin and we heard our neighbors talking all evening as we tried to sleep. Based upon other reviews I think this place is hit and miss...
