Wonderful room very expensive for food an wine. Food in the Brasserie not good, just tepid and re-used. But overall a nice stay although we could have had all excluding for a week in a Foreign Country.

We stayed here for a wedding at the weekend. It is a really lovely hotel. Our room was lovely, the bed was so comfortable I didn't want to get up. The whole wedding day was perfect and the transition between each part of the day was smooth and unseen.

Pool restriction not clearly advertised upon booking (on purpose) to attract families. What a disappointment when we discovered upon arrival that my children will not be allowed to use the pool! We would have never booked this place if this information was clearly communicated. No sincere apologies nor compensation were offered when we complained which is shocking for the price...

We are very sorry that this guest felt misled about the child policy in the hotel. Our spa is an adult environment and is not designed to accommodate children under the age of 16 years. We provide relaxation and tranquility for adults and this is clearly defined on both our own website and that of Booking.com. We understand that it...

We attended as part of a wedding party. All the facilities were good and the spa sessions were enjoyed too. The service and attitude shown by all the staff was excellent. the gardens were in good condition and there was plenty of parking for non-residents too.

I booked to take my mother and other family members for afternoon tea at the weekend. when booking staff were very helpful and reassured me that they would be able to cater for gluten free. On arrival we found that the hotel facilities were very quaint/small.... the dining room where we had tea was small too with quite a few...

A large group of us booked the Oakley Room for my dad's surprise retirement meal. Upon arrival, you are immediately greeted with a smile and treated like a VIP, we were given some drinks and we had time to appreciate the beautiful decor of the country house. I see that some previous reviews have complained about the vintage decor -...

My wife had planned a surprise retirement party for me with the help of the events planner at the venue. We had The Oakley Room, an elegant space that was both intimate and spacious enough for the twenty in our party. We had the three course Sunday lunch menu, and it was perfect. Lots of choice in all three courses,...

Myself, mum and dad dined here today for a mother's day lunch and thoroughly enjoyed it. First of all, I have to comment on the service, which was absolutely impeccable. Nothing seemed too much for the staff - their service was second to none! Upon arrival, there was daffodils and a little box of petit fours (?) / chocolates presented...

The room we had was very dated... a perfect example of 80s decor. The sink in the bathroom was cracked and the expel air did not expel!! However the room (superior double room 10) was clean and comfortable. The food was disappointing. Very over priced and not good value for money. The staff were friendly but we will not be...
