Pleasant afternoon tea with a lovely walk around the grounds afterwards. Friendly staff in tea room, more so than on main reception. Gentle background music drowned at times by works being undertaken in hotel.

I treated the birthday girl (and myself in all honesty) to a couples 55 minutes massage treatment and spa. I bought via a Groupon deal and thought it was excellent value for money. We were welcomed in, invited to have coffee as we arrived a little early for our allotted treatment time. All good so far! The treatment was awesome,...

Well, we entered the car park and wow, what a delightful building. The reception staff were very pleasant and welcomed us to the hotel. We checked in and directed to our room. Upon entry, this was a disappointment. It was clean and tidy but via the booking agency, we had booked a Superior room and this was a small standard...

The good things: The hotel staff were very friendly and the pool was lovely and warm. Then it goes downhill: Moreton's restaurant was very disappointing. I made the mistake of believing the sample menu on their website (I know, lesson learnt) and pre-booked 3 nights dinner, bed and breakfast. The actual menu isn't even close to that advertised, it is...

Stayed at this hotel recently with my wife. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this hotel. The building and grounds look fantastic and the food in the restaurant was excellent. Breakfast was as good as dinner with a large choice of hot and cold options. The room was very comfortable and tastefully furnished. We did not try...

We have just returned from a family carvery lunch of six adults and two children. The food was more than ample, appetising and hot. The ambiance was pleasant though better lighting, even if a candle on the table, would have been appreciated. The staff were polite and helpful. The car park was busy but not far to walk to the...

My first visit to Tortworth Court was 12 years ago and the hotel had a lot more character back then. I have stayed 3 times for business over the past few years and as the hotel has been modernized it has gradually lost its charm. My last stay was with my Husband yesterday for his 50th Birthday and I thought...

When I'm working in this part of the Uk I like to stay here if there's a good deal on the rooms. The hotel is beautiful with fantastic grounds but the rooms can be small....make sure you know what you are booking! Staff are helpful...I had to change rooms because of a very hot room.... in the summer the quad...

Recently stayed here for one night for a business conference. Lovely rooms and beautiful architecture. The grounds are extensive and the trees are imposing. Breakfast is fantastic and comprehensive too. There are two separate toasting machines set at different speeds to cater for dark or light toast. Small detail but it's one of the more annoying aspects of work stays...
