Hotel in a lovely location deep in the Durham country, food great, bed very comfortable. But breakfast very poor, cold beans over done pouched eggs. Yes I’m probable expect too much, WiFi available but not a good transmission area.

I always return to this fantastic hotel. Staff friendly and helpful. We stayed 2 nights and had a wonderful experience. The food is fresh and tasty just the right size portions. Had a very relaxing massage in spa. Can not wait to return.

There is no dress code as such but the food and service is very nice and having eaten there many times I would suggest smart casual. If you want something more relaxed book a table in the bar. You can get the same food but... More
