We booked a spa relax break overnight in the stunning new spa rooms right above the pool area. Totally relaxing with a lovely lunch and coffee on arrival, staff welcoming and good service, especially reception staff in the main hotel. We had 2 treatments each with massages really good with quality products . Highlight of our stay was the jacuzzi...

We stayed at Headlam for our 1st wedding anniversary and returned for our 20th. Although the hotel has been expanded now to include extra bedrooms and a health spa, this has all been very tastefully carried out to a high standard. We stayed in the Peacock room overlooking the garden and this was spotless and very comfortable. The housekeeping team...

Having been here for a wedding on last weekend I am in two minds about it, its a nice setting and I have heard its a lovely venue from people who go to use the spa. I just think it lacked that special thing - although having worked in hotels previously I am aware that places like this knock out...

We unfortunately only had time to stay one night. The accommodation was so lovely, the grounds and hall so beautiful. The panelled lounge just so enchanting and the piano player in the background added to the ambience. Our room was in the main hall and was huge and so nicely decorated. There was real coffee in the room and everything...

We thoroughly enjoyed our Sunday lunch here. The food was lovely, the service excellent and best thing of all for our two hearing aid guests was the refreshingly subdued background music. We did find the toilets a little disappointing though.
