One of the nicest places we have stayed. Will go back again very soon and try the bungalow accommodation with grand children. Will make our next visit in the summer I am sure the gardens will be beautiful.

Good location, good rooms and excellent service at checkin / checkout and in bar. Unfortunately the Nicklaus was closed and the Chester golf course was not in a good state and service at dinner was slow.

Overall very pleasant stay and lovely surroundings. The spa reception is dated and a little shabby. if it wasn't carpeted you could mistake it for a public swimming pool. Changing area not very clean. Definitely not in keeping with the rest of the hotel which has been tastefully decorated and feels classically sumptuous. The majority of the staff are very...

I stayed for 3 nights and a wine glass and empty bottle didn't move from a spot in the front gardens for the duration of my stay. The plug hole "Hair Rat" was terrible but it's nice to know my hair is...

This is about the seventh time I have been. I usually come with my family but came "with the girls" this time. Great for families, groups of girls, couples and male friends too (my husband brought his friends on a golfing break last year). Lots to do with the events centre just there on the site.

This hotel is a superb hotel, the rooms are large and beds very comfortable, grounds, pool are excellent. The grounds are fabulous to walk about and staff are friendly, particularly Sven for whom nothing was too much trouble. The only thing which we felt surprised about was the limited menu in the restaurant which for such a large hotel feels...

Everything about our stay was excellent, room, service, breakfast. I would recommend it to anyone. Stayed in the courtyard and could not fault anything about the room, it was beautifully decorated and am looking forward to our next visit.
