Booked in for 4 nights over the BH weekend as couldn't find anywhere else. What a mistake I made! Well, on arrival, I rang the bell at ' Reception' , which is a misnomer as there is never anyone there! I then went downstairs, following noise, and came to the public bar. I was then checked in by a tattooed...

Cost £190 for four nights, on arrival the room we were given the bins hadn't been emptied the water trickled through the shower as all the nozzle was thick in dirt, and the toilet seat came off in my hand. We were moved to another room which was a little better. The following day the room was not cleaned, when...

The whole place is run down and needs a thorough renovation. The place has potential to be a real gem but it is being left to fall further and further down the scale of acceptability. Where rooms have been split, the walls are as thin as cardboard and being disturbed in the middle of the night by a builder and...

Poor quality room with an awful shower. Hotel entrance a bit small and a struggle with large bags. Staff are friendly but couldn't discount the room and we had planned to stay a further 5 days. Their loss!!! Hotel in need of an upgrade/refurb. ATM it's a workman's lodge

Just a shame a couple of the other patrons decided bar bowling across the pub with pool balls was actually entertaining!! Lmao.. and then settled down in a v dirty room.... won't repeat this but actually enjoyed it, a messed up kind...

The Grant arms is situated in the heart of the village with ample free parking to the rear of the premises. These are the only positive things to say. The Hotel is very shabby and crying out for a major refurb. Our room was cold with no heating turned on,the sheets were clean however the bathroom needed a thorough deep clean, so...

I recently stayed in the Grant Arms Hotel for 1 night. The hotel looks nice from the front and even the bar area was ok. I had 1 pint and the price of the drink was good value. The girl working in the bar was also working at reception and she brought me up to check me in. The room...

Echoing quite a few of the recent reviews on here, The Grant Arms needs a serious amount of love and TLC to be good value for money. The room we were in was clean (mostly) and the beds were comfortable but the bathroom was shocking. The shower was either stone cold, or a dribble of hot water, thankfully we had...
