The hotel has had a considerable amount of improvements and additional maintenance made in the last year, and it shows. Bedrooms have been refurbished. The Regency style balconies and metal garden furniture which were very tired have been repainted. There are several gardeners tending the gardens assiduously, hard at work thinning bushes and removing old trees. There are nice touches...

Just spent one night in this lovely hotel DBB. From checking in to checking out we found all the staff very friendly and helpful. We had a feature room with a balcony and a distant view of the lake. Rooms very nice and spacious with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The food although pricey was very nice albeit...

Spent the day here as I was attending a family wedding. The staff were great, very attentive and friendly. Food was outstanding. The views out over the lakes were out of this world. The views from the drawing room are a must see.

We arrived to a glass of sherry in reception. A very nice welcome on a very soggy day. Hotel was nice and comfortable but we feel it is a little overpriced compared to what we are used to. Food is expensive but nice.

We enjoyed our stay at Macdonald Leeming House but I don't really think that it was worth the money paid. The grounds are undeniably stunning (wake up early for the sunrise it is incredible) and all of the staff were very welcoming. The breakfast was ok - I definitely wouldn't have paid £21.50 for the cooked breakfast had it not...

Room; Executive Double with Lake View. Superb Room with all you need although there is two lovely chairs that have there backs to to the view, you would...

Stayed here for one night on a Sunday. Very professional reception service and glass of sherry which was appreciated after a very long drive. Our room was lovely (executive king) with robes which were a little small...and free slippers! The only thing that could do with attention is the bath panel, room 36 paint peeling and no hot and cold...

We used the hotel as a half way stop over point on our way to the Highlands & again on the way back. The experience on the way up was great, comfortable rooms, attentive staff . We ate in the restaurant, the food was great, staff were friendly. On the way back a week later we decided that we didn't...
