Unfortunately only booked one night here on a tour of Scotland. The setting is stunning and the food superb. The staff were friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back. Hopefully to learn fly fishing.

The staff were really pleasant and the food was delicious the bed was very comfortable. and we will visit again soon. You can sit outside with a drink and enjoy the view of the countryside. They also cater for weddings.

The scenery surrounding the hotel and the setting is stunning. Inside the hotel needs to update. Internally, much needs to be done. The lounge area is very dark and unwelcoming. I understand there is a need to work with the historical interior but this hotel...More

Lovely setting, nice room, really comfy bed and a good evening meal. A few details let it down a little- not serious but if addressed would make a positive difference. The hanging baskets at the front of the hotel are clearly in their death throws...More

Yes it is worth paying the upgrade. Last time we did it, The room was quite roomy especially the bath room. If you ask for a room at the front overlooking the river you will be well pleased.
