The hotel staff where welcoming. The hotel and room where clean and had everything you needed. We have a pint and tea in the hotel at night and the food was good. Not much to do in the town itself but this place was the best thing along with the local Italian

We were lucky enough to stay in the 4poster Denbych suite. Beautiful room, fantastic bathroom. We ate in the bar on our first night and the food(veg lasagne & a steak burger) was great quality, piping hot and delicious. Breakfast was the same, I would highly recommend the omelette. Staff were polite, obliging and genuine. The lady who served our...

What can we say .. excellent polite staff every single one of them we spoke to. Lovely breakfast. Decided to eat in the restaurant on the first night we stayed and we were not disappointed. I had the Gammon which was cooked to perfection, my husband had the scampi, which was plentiful and lovely. We were upgraded to the Castle...

My daughter and I stayed for 1 night in a twin room. It was a good size with clean energy suite, coffee and tea and TV. Breakfast was lovely. Vegetarian options were omelette or porridge. We also had an evening meal. While the choices were limited the fare was well cooked and presented pub food and we enjoyed it. Staff...

Stayed here for 3 nights. Room on top floor. Fairly small and dark. On the last night I was outside at the back and was treated to an argument between two people in the flat joined on to the side above the function room. Dreadful. Language was appalling. I advised barperson/receptionist that whoever it was should close the windows. It...

Great hotel in a central location. It was an added bonus being able to take our dog and nothing was too much trouble for the excellent staff. Parking in the hotel yard is tight and on a first come first served basis but the staff advise on other options. Very good breakfast by the way!

A very enjoyable stay indeed at the Guildhall Tavern. From booking the accommodation to departure, nothing was to much trouble for any of the staff. The rooms were lovely and spacious and spotless. Breakfast was plentiful and nicely cooked (hot!!!) with also a good selection for those not requiring a cooked one. We would definitely return and have no hesitation...

We stayed in the Moel Arthur room which is at the top of the tavern, room had lovely views from the window, room was very clean with plenty of beverages provided. We both had a good nights sleep. Only problem was the floor was slanting (due to age of building) felt like we had had too much to drink... Must...
