Before staying for a couple of nights last month, this had already become my favourite restaurant in Guernsey for lunches and dinners - I'm overwhelming impressed by the cosy old-world ambience with wide open fires, low ceilings, comfortable seating and lots to look at. The food is sublime and creative - a mix of exquisitely flavoursome Mediterranean inspired dishes and...

Took some UK clients (who are regular visitors to the island) to somewhere different and away from their hotel and office in St Peter Port Meet with a warm welcome and a comforting open fire. Interesting menu plus great specials. We choose from the specials but asked for some bespoke additions. No problem! Impressed with real ales and solid wine...

Under the helm of great management & a truly great chef = Xabat from San Sebastien this little gem hidden away in the Guernsey country side ceases to amaze me for the quality of fine food @ incredibly reasonable prices. Guernsey is presently in tennerfest mode at but the Auberge DV has its' own tennerfest forgetting the annual event running...

We had not been for nearly ten years, since Fernando departed. However it seems renewed and back to its best. Beautifully kept and now run by the son of the original owner. Now this week as I have written we have enjoyed some truly fabulous food. But today, just decided to go for a snack lunch. Well, the menu is a...

We loved this hotel, so comfy and homely. Bus stop was right outside the door with walks from the hotel though we did explore the island by car We were made to feel extremely welcome by all the staff, our room was spacious, clean and comfortable and the food was to die for. We will have no hesitation in booking...

Stayed here for 8 nights, a really good base to see the island. Everything was clean and the staff were really helpful (especially when I fell ill). The food here was really nice though we only ate here twice as we wanted to explore the island. Got a bit noisy on weekends due to the restaurant/bar below but only to...

While this is not the ritz, we were made to feel very much at home (like a home away from home) and would pick this hotel and restaurant over many more fancy places in the area. What a really wonderful place, really REALLY genuine and friendly staff and service. The food for dinner is excellent and the breakfast was perfect,...

We chose this hotel for it's B&B atmosphere and it met all our expectations. The location was amazing with gardens and charm plus. We could walk to three wonderful restaurants if we really wanted to but the food at Auberge du Val was superb so we ate there the most. It has a pub atmosphere with plenty of locals to...

We recently visited this lovely hotel and were really impressed with the welcome we received. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts, Malcolm and family. The room was comfortable and clean, always lots of hot water, tea and coffee making facilities, and tv and wi fi. The restaurant was wonderful, and the food delicious and not overpriced. Breakfast was...
