From the minute you drive through the gates you are made very welcome by the most professional staff in beautiful surroundings. Everybody was polite and welcoming. The room was excellent and very homely.

I Celebrated my 50th here the first weekend in February. It was just wonderful. The hotel is everything you expect and more. I couldn't have chosen a better venue. I was booked for a cooking course on the day of my birthday which was both incredibly informative and enjoyable. Chef Mark peregrine and his assistant Becky were very warm and...

Attended the one day 'Maman Blanc' cookery school which was an amazing experience. Michael & Rebecca were fabulous hosts and made everything seem so easy, especially the washing up! Thank you Rebecca :) The facilities are fabulous too. It was a jam packed day with non-stop cooking - French Onion soup (which I have never liked till this recipe), vegetable...

There are a lot of staff around in what seems a slick well coordinated operation. When we arrived they didn't know who we were but then it's always safer to...

The room was large and very comfortable, we got a great nights sleep. For dinner we had the 7 course tasting menu which was excellent. It was not too big so we...

We booked this for each other as a surprise so cancelled one of our bookings. The food is divine. There is no question of not saying that. Our room was lovely ( garden room) so why did I not give it excellent you ask? They let themselves down by having us down by the wrong name ( and the card...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Created by celebrated chef Raymond Blanc OBE, Belmond Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons is renowned for offering one of Britain's finest gastronomic experiences. Situated in the picturesque Oxfordshire village of Great Milton, it is also one of the country's most intimate and original hotels, with 32 individually designed guest rooms and suites. The hotel received two Michelin stars in 1984, the first year of its opening, and, remarkably, has held them ever since. Surrounded by lawns, flower borders and orchards, the luxury hotel enjoys an idyllic, typically English setting. But beyond the eye-catching displays are vegetable and herb gardens that provide the kitchen-and the acclaimed Raymond Blanc Cookery School-with ultra-fresh, organic produce, ensuring the Michelin-star restaurant remains at the cutting edge of culinary excellence. ... more   less
