I stayed here on business for 3 nights. The beds were comfy the dinner was delicious and view and grounds were spectacular. The swimming pool on site is not a place to go if are wanting to do a few lengths it is a small leisure pool where you can stand up in the dee end and the shallow end...

Stayed in junior suite room 23 at The Hall from 18/10/15 to 20/10/15. Had pre ordered champagne, fruit and chocolates in our room for arrival but they weren't there. State of room on arrival was a disgrace. Bathroom was particularly dire with what looked like a large blood clot on the floor of the shower area. Bathroom glasses had not...

Checked in at 6pm only 1 staff member so bit of a wait. Couldn't get in room as key card wouldn't work, had to get it reenergised. Nice large room if a bit dull and plain with no character. Firm bed but spongy pillows. Evening meal from a limited menu, slow roasted lamb very good, regret vegetables more al than...

We went to The Walton Hall hotel for a night and was so disappointed , The ground and hotel are lovely and we can imagine with some attention to detail given would be a great place to stay. We went on a dinner bed and breakfast rate and felt this was not worth the money it cost us. The staff...

Was slightly disappointed to say the least, I knew to start with that I was booked to stay in the main hotel and not the bedrooms in the Hall or even in the Coach houses so had already prepared myself that the rooms wouldn't be quite as nice and I was right to be prepared! I defiantly would pay more...

Distinctly average afternoon tea. For such a smart place I was expecting at least a decent tea cup but no sign of china and service was sloppy. Had to request plates, cutlery etc more than once and in the end get our own serviettes. The staff were friendly enough but seemed untrained and inefficient. The location however is stunning.

We stayed in the Walton Hotel (not the Hall) as part of a package deal, which was absolutely great value for money - 2 nights b&b, one dinner, one afternoon tea and bottle of wine in room on arrival.
