we stayed here for 2 nights and had one of the most memorable weekends we have had recently The staff even changed our room so that my wife could have a relaxing bath in the evening before diner The evening meal was worth a Michelin star and the staff made all of us in my party very welcome and catered...

We stayed for two nights to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary. Arriving on a dark, wet and windy New Years Day evening, the welcome couldn't have been any warmer and it stayed that way throughout our very chilled visit - exactly what we wanted. The room was very well appointed, the food amazing and all the staff were very friendly...

We visited The Holcombe Inn for the second time today for a Sunday roast. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed both visits and will be going again. Today we both had the roast beef, which was delicious and plentiful. The beef cooked rare with pillowy Yorkshire puddings, seasonal local veg and good quality gravy made for very good eating. The...

We dined at the Holcombe inn for the first time and were not disappointed , meal was excellent, service courteous but not intrusive all good , the ham eggs and chips although sound uninteresting were far from it they were the best ever chips and proper thick carved ham instead of the usual shiny rubbish served so brilliant , will...

Visited the Holcombe inn in December for the Christmas markets. We had the hunters room and it was extremely cosy and comfortable! I spent the first hour in the room fascinated by the unique taps in the bathroom. The rainfall shower head was heavenly, the his and hers basins had an elegant waterfall type tap along with the double ended...

Very good food and helpful staff but the Old English room was over priced. Most important was the draughty windows which were old metal ones which leaked - the location of the building is very exposed to the elements - the bathroom was cold even with the radiator on full for 12 hours. The glass small chandelier type lights were...

We are pleased you enjoyed the food at The Holcombe Inn and found the staff to be helpful. At the time of your stay, we did offer you a different room, twice, as you seemed to finding issues. Despite this, you didn't want to change rooms. Old England is a beautiful room enjoyed by many people, very often requested again...

Wonderful 3 nights at The Holcombe Inn between Christmas and NY in "Champagne". It's impossible to think how our stay could have been better. The room was warm, cosy and had a lovely big bathroom. Everyone we encountered, both staff and locals, was friendly and welcoming. Each evening we had a drink in the pub before dinner and enjoyed chatting...

I am not one to write a review but felt "The Holcombe Inn" and it's staff deserved praise. Myself and family members booked a few months in advance and I am glad we did otherwise we may have missed out on this little gem. We stayed for one night and just wished it could have been for longer. We received...

This is the 2nd time we've stayed here and we are already planning our 3rd trip. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we were looked after by everyone. You can really see why it's rated 5 stars. We stayed in the Old England room and just like before the room was stunning with lovely views. We...
