Visited tonight whilst on holiday down the road, if we had found this on our first night we would have gone every evening and sampled eveything on their menu! I had the camembert, duck and the best creme brulwe I have ever had! I cannot fault the staff, they were very busy but nothing was too much trouble! The locals...

Telephoned to ask about wheelchair access and was told that it was available. Phoned again the night before to check and was told the same. NO wheelchair access and had to lift a 92 year old chair user up a step and through a door.Very embarrassing for her, Unbelievable. The meal was average but the staff quite pleasant although could...

Lovely comfy bed, room a bit basic and small. No shampoo - only bars of soap and no hand towels or bath mats. Beautiful breakfast and lovely friendly staff. Nice old building in a lovely country village setting. Would stay again.

Visiting family for Christmas and used only for room and breakfast. Room fine for price but a real inconvenience that no (absolutely none) toiletries were provided not even a dinky cake of soap and no bath mat. The two breakfasts were fine and the waiter was very nice and efficient remembered our preferences second morning especially as it was the...

We stayed here one night. The rooms are affordable, and at the standard you would expect for the price. They are dog friendly, which is great. The food, both the included breakfast and the dinner we ate there, was very good. Food was 5 star, rooms were maybe a 4.

Lovely staff, lovely clean room, very comfortable bed, absolutely marvellous breakfast, delicious dinner. All in all, we couldn't have asked for more! Great value for money. "We'll be back"! Ruth, Jason and Audrey the dog.

It is a great shame as the food on the whole was good however on both times I have been there lately there has been a mix up with orders. On one the birthday girls meal order was forgotten and she had to wait while they cooked one. Everyone else had finished by the time she got hers and the...

One night stay was one to remember. Staff were so nice and helpful. We had lunch, dinner and breakfast. Food was plentiful and delicious. Dog friendly bar was great fun for Rufus as all six of us enjoyed our evening meal. If you are looking for a stop over to North Devon then this is the place. YOU WILL NOT...

We arrived slightly before our check in time, we were told the room was ready and we could check in. The room was satisfactory and had good facilities. The only problem we had with the room was it overlooked an ally way with a very loud extractor fan outside which was hard to sleep through. The food was above standards...
