We spent one night in Lorne House while visiting Bath. There was a warm welcome when we arrived. Our room was very nicely decorated, warm and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was the usual fayre and very enjoyable. We would definitely go back if we were in the area.

My family and I stayed at Lorne House back in July, shortly after arriving in England. The reviews don't lie. This place is very professionally run; the hosts are personable and enjoyable. The breakfasts were outstanding, and the room was clean and elegant. The setting is beautiful. Highly recommended!

We were booked for a Saturday night but arrived at the B&B a few hours before the check in time. The couple who own the house were more than accommodating for us to arrive this early as we had agreed in advance that this would be the case. The room was absolutely lovely, and if anything the bed was too...

Thank you for the review. We were extremely busy last week - end and are indeed very sorry that your experience was not perfect and that we appeared momentarily brisk, we can only put this down to stress in the heat of the moment . It certainly was not intentional to intimidate you so please accept our apologies. We pride...

We were booked in for a single Saturday night, a last minute booking the evening before, web site booking direct went ok, payment made and was acknowledged but 4 hours later we had a phone call to say that there had been a computer problem and that there was no room available. Sounded like a better offer of more than...

Firstly we wish to sincerely apologise for the unfortunate double booking that occurred on Friday last week , it is every Guest house’s worst nightmare and not something that we do deliberately to give ourselves a headache. We value the good relations that we have with our many guests and, as witnessed by our many reviews, we generally succeed ....

I have read reviews that comment on room size bathroom facilities, parking, noise etc. Honestly, do people book without reading first? Lorne house are 100% honest about their offer. If you want cheap, go stay at a Premier inn or something. If you want a presidential suite, big parking spaces, 24/7 concierge... go stay at the Hilton (not as nice...

Quite simply the best B&B I have stayed in. The owners were very welcoming on my arrival. The room was clean and tidy. The bed was the most comfortable I've ever stayed in. (Apart from the one at The FOUR SEASONS in Marrakech!!!!) The breakfast consisted of a wide variety of cereals, a selection of fresh fruit and a wonderful...

We spent two lovely nights at Lorne House while visiting Bath and the surrounding area and would definitely recommend it. A solid 4.5 stars from me and my husband. I did a lot of B&B and hotel research before booking this place and I can tell you that places fill up FAST in the summertime, so if you are looking...

Very friendly and most comfortable B&B in a quiet little village. The room we has whilst being a little on the small side was very comfortable and benefited from having a super wet room. The beds were very comfortable overlooking a pleasant back garden. The breakfasts were exceptional served in a lovely Victorian breakfast room. When the B& B was...
