I arrived (sat nav behaved perfectly, despite other reviewers' problems) in a thunderstorm - the perfect setting for such an old, out-of-the-way premises! I was travelling alone and I'll admit to initially feeling pretty vulnerable when it appeared there was just the owner and me there, a long way off any beaten track, with no lock on my door. But...

POSITIVES: Beautiful & Peaceful location. Super friendly & really nice chap who runs the place. He really does try and is very welcoming. Comfortable Bed & HUGE room. NEGATIVES: When we turned up we were told we had to pay in cash or cheque. Now anywhere else I wouldn't really mind but this place is literally the most isolated place...

We stayed one night as we were walking the Peddars Way. The accommodation is large, rambling and comfortable. The grounds are lovely and peaceful. The breakfast was very good. Would we go back ? Most certainly would.

A very warm welcome awaited me at Lodge Farm. Lovely faciilites and an amazing breakfast. The only issue is finding the place. A sign or two would make things far less stressful. Beautiful scenery! Like a manor!

We only stayed for one night after attending a friends wedding. We were made to feel very welcome by our host. you almost feel one of the family, you just come and go as you please. The room was huge and very comfortable with amazing views. Breakfast was very nice and there was plenty of choice. The only problem was...

Stayed here for 5 nights on a cycling break. Fantastic location, once you have found it! It is located about 1 mile north of Castle Acre off a narrow lane. There are no signs to give any clue as to this being a B&B, and the SatNav was of no help. Complaint over. Once you get there you are assured...

This is a large farmhouse and I stayed for 1 night. I was treated with great friendliness and the breakfast was great. The house is a bit bit worn and has clearly seen better days. But the surrounding area is fabulos with great walks. The village is like something lost in time.

Wow what a super place, secluded and so quiet yet easy access for my meetings locally in Fakenham, Hunstanton and Kings Lynn. Magnificent 1800's farm house, who would not want to stay here. Deer, pheasants, hares and rabbits all around, must come back and do some walking in the area with my wife. Fantastic Norfolk welcome on arrival and breakfast...

The husband, son and I stayed at Lodge Farm the night before a December wedding. We had difficulty locating it at night in the dark but I guess that would be part of the charm of the place in the summer months. A friendly police woman in a jeep eventually guided us down the narrow country lanes towards the house,...
