Very good value for money. Clean and modern rooms in a old fashioned place. We have stayed here two times and will go back again. Staff are always cheerful and food is excellent! Beautiful surroundings. Nice and quiet. Worth 5 stars easily.

Went here for lunch with friends a week ago and had a really lovely lunch and dessert. The proper beef and ale pie was delicious best ever we have ever had. Would recommend this to anyone whether it be for lunch or dinner in the evening. We shall be going back there soon.

The OCH is the only place we would stay in this area. Lovely old pub full of character. The rooms are quite small but that doesn't matter at all as they are tastefully decorated and the ensuite bathrooms are fantastic. Excellent value for money - we booked a double at short notice and total was £65 including full English breakfast!... More

MY room was double booked resulting in me having to spend a large amount of money securing one of the few rooms free in another hotel for the following night. Food was good and room was clean and well furnished.

Dear gilly429 I am sorry your room was double booked and can only apologize for the inconvenience caused. I want to explain the problem, because we use an automated online booking service and along with hundreds of other Hotels we were not receiving the bookings online, due to their computer system failing. This has caused a few problems but I... More

I love this hotel, seems it's quite difficult to find good places to stay in the area. The food is lovely, a good choice of freshly cooked meals. The breakfast was ok but the service was a bit hit and miss, people were arriving but no staff in sight! Rooms are small but well furnished, it can be a little... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Olde Coach House. Our room was in the new block. It was very comfortable with a lovely, well fitted bathroom. We dined in the hotel and the food and the service were excellent. If we had one grumble it would be that the selection of cold, help yourself breakfast items was a bit... More

Stayed here to break up long journey home up and wasn't disappointed. Accommodation was immaculate and full of home comforts. Bed comfortable and restaurant food reasonably priced and of the highest quality. All staff were polite and pleasant. Will most definitely return xx

Stayed in the new block which was very nice. Room was fine and had a lovely big shower room with very good shower and nice toiletries. The heated towel rail was a bonus. 2 second dash to the main pub and restaurant is mainly under cover and the car park is immediately behind the bedrooms so everything is close. Breakfast... More

Visited here last night for a meal to celebrate an anniversary with my partner. The staff were so friendly from the moment we arrived, and throughout the evening, and the service was fab. Food was lovely.... (Although they had run out of several things) Only downside was the duck was slightly chewy, but having said that it still tasted great... More
