We went for a wedding. In Covid times which is hard enough and stayed near to the venue as possible. Pleasantly surprised my daughter who booked thought she booked travel lodge .The hotel staff were warm welcoming and helpful. The rooms clean bed comfortable . Only the pillows let it down . They even supplied amenities they had a hairdryer in the bedroom a hairdryer in the bathroom , really nice thick clean white towels and a very nice soap and shower / bath gel of good quality . I have been in the beauty industry since 1977 and nowadays four-star hotel if they can do not supply. So a pleasant surprise. The only shame as we had to go find somewhere for breakfast at the restaurant was not open

I stayed here when attending a conference nearby. The accomodation was basic but clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. My room was at the back, away from the road and I heard some traffic: I imagine this possibly may be annoying in a room at the front. I didn't eat at the restaurant as I was disappointed by the menu.

taking on an "out of the way" motel/travelodge that has had its prime, roadside location bypassed by a new road is always a huge risk. I really salute the folks who took this place over and keep it going. The superior room is very well presented (I love the fur throws) and the hotel has great staff. If i need somewhere to stay in the northants area this is a go-to place. Its not hard to find, has reasonably close major road connections and the price point is excellent. The standard rooms are basic, but always clean and well maintained - you even get decent china and decent brand supplies for tea and coffee. The superior rooms are also very good, fridge, seats, fur throws and lovely bathrooms. No one is going to expect 5 star in this kind of location and price point, but at the same time it is clear that the owners have put pride into this location. Its my understanding the owners own just this one location, so its not a chain and they clearly make time to ensure the welcome is good, the rooms very clean and comfortable.I love that there is always a nice smell of incense when you open the front door.
My only real negative (if you can call it that) feedback is that the beds creak a lot. The mattresses are very comfortable and new but the underlying frames could do with a bit of a lightning up. I think some would also find the windows a bit thin, so when the occasional truck goes past it can seem a little noisy (though, as i said, this location is no longer on a main road so thats pretty infrequent).

Everything about this hotel is good. It has a great location between the A14 and the A6 with easy access to all the surrounding areas. The hotel has good spacious rooms with everything you need to enjoy a relaxing night. The staff are friendly and welcoming and accomodating. We have stayed in many local hotels but this one is our favourite by far. As a bonus the adjacent restaurant is very popular and friendly with a good menu and bar.

£250 per night for 2 adults in a cold room with a child & 3 single beds. Would rather be at home in the warmth. Just awful. No food either. Cold & hungry. Don’t even bother staying here please it’s miserable. Apparently my review must contain 200 words or it won’t be submitted so I’m continuing to write for the sake of it…..

Some of the nicest and most friendly staff I've met in any hotel nice atmosphere and ambient lighting. So helpful and mindful of different types of people. Room had snacks and plenty coffee and tea and decent sized fridge. Fresh and clean towels and amazing shower either freezing or roasting. Rotating fan on wall thank god because the heat was overwhelming so this helped a tonne. Close and local to shops and stuff only 5 mins in car.
I can't rate this hotel highly enough worth every penny.

I recently had to attend a conference and spent a night at Travel Plaza. Staff were welcoming and the rooms were quiet, clean and tidy. The price for my room was very reasonable and the restaurant next door serves excellent food. Overall very satisfied, thank you.

Room is big, spacious and modern in premier inn style.. Decor is simple but nice. Very clean and the bathroom facilities are all new. 5 miles from market harborough NOT 2 as it said in Trivago!!!!
Service is good.
Carpark is included in price and has plenty of spaces.

Worst hôtel ever the manager was awful. Awful custumer service. The room are dirty and cold. The woman at the reception are very rude and the guy just constantly. If you looking for a minimum of hygiene don't go there. Is nothing around. The room are way too expensive for what is it during the night its very creepy to stay in this place.
