We have stayed at many pubs with rooms and thought that this was one of the best in terms of facilities, quality of food and price. The room was very comfortable with lovely views and it was a nice change to have a good size bathroom with a roomy shower. Both dinner and breakfast were very good and the service...

We chose this hotel mainly because it was convenient for a function we were attending in Heswall. It was ideal; clean, comfortable and friendly. We had room 3 which overlooked the gardens. The bed was comfortable, the shower was good, there were the usual tea making facilities and toiletries, all very good value. I was concerned it might be noisy...

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights whilst visiting relatives who live close by. The room we had was a family room so for 2 of us it was very large and spacious. It also had a lovely view of the river and was located above the restaurant so after 10pm it was very quiet. I would say the...

First visit for us with friends who have visited once before. The food was excellent! Very fresh and packed with lots of flavour! I would recommend the beef and guiness pie it was very tasty and filling. The staff are very welcoming as is the venue I would highly recommend and will definately be going back when in the area.

We held my husband's 70th birthday party here in the afternoon of the 19th March. The food and the service were excellent and nothing was too much trouble. As they were catering for 32 people all sitting down for a meal at the same time we were very impressed. WELL DONE ALL.

First visit and if you go for the full rack of ribs you will not be able to get out of your chair. Excellent service and first vlass food. A hidden gem on the Wirral. Well done to all the staff and management. We will be back for more.

Slightly tucked away only yards away from Heswalls busy high street this hidden gem offers atmosphere! sophistication! and a welcoming charm that makes you feel like you're home. The interior of both bar and resteraunt offer a warm and cosy feel yet decor is contemporary with a modern touch. The views from the side garden looking over the estuary are...
